I used to work for Norfolk Southern Railroad and majority of the workers, including myself, actually enjoyed seeing all the artwork. They actually don’t care that you don’t paint the cars. Just as along as they don’t cover the identifier numbers or plates. But if they see you, they’re required to report it cause they’ll get fired if they don’t. The RR are super strict

JEEEEZUS CHRIST these workers are COOL AF here in the Prairies im SERIOUSLY doubtful of most Train Workers being cool with us painting like that, FFS he even told you guys WHERE TF the cameras were and where the good spots were, THATS some low key niceness and support right there, here in MB/SK im terrified of workers and bulls
Most of the time workers are chill… I don’t even get how you can work in a yard or with freights and not be cool with graff 🤣 like that’s all you lookin at 🤣

I was guessing it's his way of registering how far from the surface the can is, like finding the sweet spot. Tap, then pull back a smidge and go? Just my guess.

that day the wheels were falling off. the crew was backing cars into other cars, the other cars being right next to miles and keep. the guy riding the shove could see miles and keep painting, its in between lines in the daytime, they were just trying to finish as quick as they could.
