Coop (and especially Robert), This was an excellent video. Reptiles can be so easy (relatively speaking) to keep sometimes that people often create bare bones enclosures, neglecting their needs for cover, lighting and general habitat enrichment. And while we do not fully understand how they work and what they are thinking, neglecting their needs by housing them in sterile tubs and racks is not the way to go. Your set ups are not only natural (love the offset rocks for the lizards) but they encourage something that most reptile owners neglect altogether. You said early in the video you keep reptiles in these enclosures to see "what makes them tick". I couldn't begin to imagine the natural behaviors you witness in those set ups, many of which would never be witnessed by our rack clowns in the US. Your animals are extremely active and healthy and I wish more people would follow your example. I'd hate to see your electric bill though! Keep up the good work mate.

Australia has awesome reptiles. I would have loved it as a kid. I was catching garder snakes salamanders and crayfish. We didnt have much in the city in north eastern U.S.A

Thank you for sharing your collection. Those enclosures are amazing! It looks like those branches (greenery) that you have in some of the enclosure are eucalyptus. Are all Australian reptiles okay with it? It seems like I read that with ours we can't use eucalyptus oils or candles etc in our homes because it could cause neurological problems. I will never give up my animals but I miss eucalyptus!
