Excellent Ravntor. Exactly, We have to make this community able to last. so indeed lets make a solution. it sounds hard to fathom at first but we can do anything if we put our minds to it especially together👍 this might take some time but we can do it!

@@lukeandmum Absolutely. There are many possibilities. Set up an Onlineforum, discord, Telegram. I personally would prefer a forum/board.

@@Ravntor Ya Ravntor things like that, though I have to admit these different ways of communication are somewhat unknown to me, I'd have to look it all up, Forums are very interesting though that could be a way, anything to stop us being so fragile to RU-vid's whims 👍

Hi Berserker I have good news, fallowing that idea and with inspiration from Ravntor I made a forum for the community, I think its a good first step to staying in touch, I put a link in my community tab, I called it the tribe hall :)

Thanks Bob, ya unless anyone had a satalite phone it would be difficult to use phones such long distance. Indeed I like writing letters actually, I would write my brother a while ago, that was fun, though given how widespread we are some of them would take a while haha😁

Hi Nik. yes very good Idea that is. oh yes I think internet and phone signals are separate, iv been in areas where the phone still works but the internet is gone. indeed ham Radio can operate world wide with the right set up though it can be a bit tricky, CB is an incredible and now forgotten way of local communication. back in the CB days a message could travel for miles by it being relayed from person to person.

Indeed Engla, those are very good Ideas. Ya Email is definitely one way, it use to be such a used way of comunicating back in the 90s but now it seems almost forgotten. Iv heard of discord Ill have to look into that, because ya I dont do any social media either (unless you tube is counted of course haha), we ll have to think on it more in the morning, although it is morning there but not here;)

Good Idea Monkoko that could be a good back up, some kind of secret rendezvous area. indeed, I just have one more scene to film and then a lot of editing. I think ill release it October 30th👍😁

Yes that's what I've been thinking, but we on this side of the fence are spread thinly at best.

@@michaelbuck294 Indeed Michael, one things for sure if we all did meet at a secret rondevouse it would take awhile for us to get there especially on foot 😅 actually that would make a great apocalypse movie, it could be called rendezvous at days end😁

Hi Lexi, ya that would probably be a good solution. I do know a little about news letters, it would just be a sort of safeguard for any of us to fall back on should we get cut off👍

@@lukeandmum Did you mean cut off completely, like no power, no internet? Or if RU-vid kicked is all off tomorrow. Cuz for the latter you could redirect us to a Reddit group.. or here's a wild and crazy idea, we could meet up once a year somewhere. I know it's a logistical nightmare with us spread across the Anglosphere but with the right planning.. 🤔

@@lexiedovahkiin Hi Lexi, A little of both, we start on making ourselves immune to RU-vid attacks, then we might be able to formulate more emergency plans. Yes I realy do think a grand meet up could be done with enough planning, it's just a matter of determination haha😁

Exactly Michael it's a good question we should ponder especially for our more local contacts. Ya in the event of a total mad max situation, communication would get difficult, except for maybe shortwave radio, or satalite phones. In a local setting you could make some kind of drawn code you leave on buildings in order to let those in the know where you have gone. Indeed Michael, should it all end you and everyone here would be in our thoughts,👍☺️ remember to watch the corners, Zombies like to hide there😬

@@lukeandmum Ive talked my partner into watching The Walking Dead, just take out the zombies and it shows good examples of how things would likely be. Only draw back with watching it, is you soon realise, Oh f### !!!

@@michaelbuck294Ya Michael, iv seen the first season so far, it is telling on some of the ways it might be, it always seems like in zombie situations the most dangerous thing is other living people and I'm sure that is quite true, speaking of shows, a show we seen as being very interesting that brings up good ideas of what it might be like after the end, is a show called Jericho, it's about a small town surviving after a nuclear strike. But there a small Kansas town with a close community so they all try to stay civilized, but then there's other people of course trying to come in and stuff, very interesting and I think the action is also very realistic 😬

@@lukeandmum Yes your not wrong thre, its people that would be the issue. I think the Walking Dead is a good representation, just take out the zombies. I will have a look or Jericho, sounds interesting. You all prepared for winter?

@@michaelbuck294 I think we have everything ready. Just in time to, it's snowing as I write, and cold, the first snow melted, but this one might stay this time. Now it's just time to start shoveling snow instead of sand haha.

Thanks Charles, ya that would be fun, it will take some thought but I think we could come up with something, though atleast in our case if either of us disappear we can just row down the river and look and call our names haha.👍 I'm not sure why that tab was given to me, but suddenly it was there, on my main channel page at the top.

@@charlesshaw7801 Not Yet but very soon probably, it's going to freeze for the first time tonight so we're doing our last garden preparations. It's been realy mild for October but I wonder if it will suddenly shift to being a realy cold winter.

Ya Modernvikingway, that is indeed the most reliable way to keep in touch, sharing that information would need to be done very securely of course but definitely that's a way that won't fail to easy👍
