A well balanced man is a blessing to this world. No to men who are abusive, overpowering and narcissitic. No to men who act feminine, girly and display cowardice. The most well balanced and perfect man is our beloved Rasullullah (saw). We are blessed to have him(saw) as our rolemodel, for our muslim men. So follow him! And stop following your favorite rap artist, fotball star, gay fashiondesigner, politican; and every other man who is far from the blessed example of Rasullallah(saw).

@It doesn't Matters maybe, not sure. But surely taking hadeeths out of context and/or shortening them to suit an agenda is definitely going to turn away a lot of people from the beautiful religion, man or woman. Or have I mistaken your tone for one of concern when really, you’re just trying to instigate something here? If it’s the latter, I sure hope your grammar is on par with mine, or else there’ll be many more misunderstandings in our future exchanges, should we have any. But judging by your YT handle and the two sentences you’ve just written under my comment here, I really don’t expect much. And by saying you’ve seen “many”, does that include all the muslim nations you’ve travelled to or just the 2-3 people you know of? I personally do not know of any Muslim woman who has had a non-Muslim boyfriend and I’m not even from a conservative place 🤷🏻‍♀️ But go on.

I got attracted to islam because islam is soooo sophisticated n hygenic n precise and self sell. Like preach yes to get the msg across. Its an extensive broad sopp instructions but marketing isnt needed.. But i dont think islam sells because of the preachimg. I just think that the product is so amazing as itself that as modernity gets more confusing n stupid like gender fluid stupid kinds of stupid.or dont identify kind of stupid then the choice is clear like who is dumb enough to choose modernity vs islam at 2020. I mean u have to be lile stoned or smtg. Modernity makes no sense in 2020. N it gets more ridiculous over time and unstable and makes no sense.scientist will gradually be against modernity because ut does not make biological sense to condone such stupidity. N i think as we go further people will be embaressed to follow modernity as they dont wana identify as stupid.

Excellent work! One comment! The "GHAIRI OLY ALIRBATE", AL NOOR 31; means except those men having no sexual desire. The meaning is changed when "for women" is added, the Ayah does not allude to homosexual men; it states the condition of men who are deprived of sexual desire.

This is a great approach. But you know at 15:00 when you say you're gonna push these women out of islam if you don't respect them.... I don't think that most muslim women's faith depend on the men they're around.. I mean obviously it is wrong to oppress muslim women. But stating that muslim women's believes are a product of muslim men's actions, that when men treat them good they believe and when men oppress them they run away from relegion is sort of problematic. Women have their own understanding of religion and their own relationship with Allah which has nothing to do with men.
@axis2312
@axis2312 3 года назад
Many men use scripture to oppress women, "more women in the hellfire" "the angels will curse you" "women are deficient" "i can beat you because Allah said it's halal" etc. This is why women should learn their deen and learn what is expected of them and what they should expect of men so that they do not fall into that trap.
@zhiar3052

He meant it in the social sense not the religious sense, meaning muslim men and women hating each other getting away from each other (which may actually result in both of them getting away from the religion itself)

I also often question of myself that have I lost my faith in present circumstances inspite of praying and trying to follow Quran and hadith as much as possible? But I have come to conclusion about it. If it is correct it is by grace of Allah. In sleep if I dont follow the etiquettes of islam, sometimes satan attacks me, in due course consciously or unconsciously, there is utterance of no god except Allah and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah, then immediately attack disappears. Allah knows the best.

Edit: I might have said something wrong may Allah forgive me. Please read replies. We need to be careful because someone will hear this and say “Well I should be served because this guy says the Sunnah of the prophet is not to be served but to serve his family”. The prophet SAW would help his wives out of his generosity, but it wasn’t his responsibility to cook, clean, take care of the kids, etc. Some will hear this and say it should be a 50/50 split between men and women but that’s simply not the case.

"The Prophet (S.A.W) was not served...he was at the service of his family." Unfortunately, this is a very ignorant statement, despite it being well-intentioned, by Dr. Brown. For one, the Sahabah Radi Allahu Anhum jumped to be at the service of Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alayhi Wassalam, for two the Wives Radi Allahu Anhum served Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alayhi Wassalam and obeyed him (ex. Sayyida Khadija Radi Allahu Anha cooked for the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wassalam and even brought the food to the base of the Mountain of Light which was a very physically strenuous task), and for three the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wassalam did not need anyone, because he Sallallahu Alayhi Wassalam was Directly Sustained by Allah (meanwhile everyone needed him Sallallahu Alayhi Wassalam). But, beyond that -- there is a poor understanding being shared here: the authority and leader figure provides excellent stewardship, and takes care of their dependants tremendously, and with utmost mercy. However, the other side of the balancing equation has been totally neglected here, despite Dr. Brown calling for a 'moderate' or 'balanced' take. Namely, the side of tarbiyyah and discipline, which ensures that authority is revered and cooperated with by the dependants. The vision of manhood that Dr. Brown caricaturizes here of being 'alt-right' in origin, is a very shallow strawman that few actually even entertain in the manosphere. Instead, a vision of both strong and soft qualities coming together is routinely presented, for better or for worse, in such spaces. And, indeed in Islam we find that the husband and father is granted both *headship* and *providership* over the family. While Dr. Brown acknowledges female issues, and the attractive pull many are resisting towards Western validation, he doesn't understand how magnetism and safe-guarding womenfolk actually works based on what he's said here. While compassion is necessary, if this emanates from an approval-seeking door-mate state from men, Muslim women will have little reason to respect them as they're being fake and failing to uphold their masculine functions of heading relationships. Headship requires checks and balances, and boundaries being set and enforced to ensure the behaviour of all parties is in keeping with sacred law. When this is neglected, and only compassion is shown, people who aren't actually in a deficit of receiving validation, become spoiled. And, this doesn't magnetize women, it repels them. Women detest yes-men who can't be honest with them about their commitments and values, precisely because yes-men are trying to gain approval from the nafs of those women, who therefore don't feel safe under their care (they can't handle them). An authentic and balanced man, instead, nurtures the nufoos of his dependent, but directs them towards their fitri imperatives. This requires tarbiyyah too, and not just soft takes. We are seeing the younger generations on IG and TikTok degenerate further and further into tabarruj and dayooth like behaviours, despite all the accommodations of this soft approach. It clearly isn't working, and it clearly isn't respected. The balance is to invite others as they are, but to ensure they continue improving and not stagnating into worse and worse conditions. There is a time for discipline and there is a time for lenience.

The prophet ﷺ served his family, but his family also served him, it's a shame J.Brown wants to portray this one-sided idea, we have numerous Ahadeeth where the Prophet ﷺ was served by his wives. Stop promoting this idea that a man should be at the service of his wife, it's the otherway around folks
