Now my objective may be different from other riders who want to lean and drag their knee.
From my experience and what I've learned through course work is to keep the moto as upright as possible.
How is that achieved? By picking the straightest lines in a run.
We have 100 points of traction and as I lean, I lose those points.
When I use 5% of braking as I begin to lean, I slowly release the front brake to return to that 5% I took away from my traction.
Sure, these curves aren't tail of the dragon type, but they do teach how to pick and choose a line and if you want to drag knee, pretty sure it can be done on them.
The scope of this is how I run curves and select lines to keep my moto as upright as possible, which also means more speed and safety.
When I go out to have fun and further my skills, my goal is not to end up hurt on a low side or high side because of RU-vid videos. My goal is to show how I have fun without having to be extreme and potentially injure myself enjoying my moto's.
Understanding this may be difficult gor some, but those who understand the concept of 100 points will get what I'm saying.
I learned that by taking Champ U's online course and it helped me tremendously.
I took it to a parking lot and then the street and have thus far enjoyed safe riding while also enjoying the power of my moto.
People say you can't pull the full power of a liter moto, but it can be done on open long sweeping roads which I have plenty here.
What does it take to pull the full potential of anything? Practice and consistency in practice.
Yet, full potential is often times but a moment and it's a constant search for it.
