The bulletproof Prius/CT 200 H Platform has a very reliable internal combustion engine powering the hybrid system; only at about 150 to 170,000 miles the head gasket tends to fail due to wear and tear and some material degradation.
Even though we are European Specialists, this job is right up our alley as we have the expertise to replace head gaskets in much more complex engines. We can do this job with upgraded head gaskets and bolts at a fraction of the price of the Lexus or Toyota dealer.
Why make such a significant investment in a 150,000 mile car? The reason is simple. Because it can keep going. It’s not unusual to see a Toyota Prius or a Lexus CT 200h pushing 300,000 miles.
