Keeping Up Appearances 1990 Cast THEN AND NOW 2024, All cast died tragically!
Keeping Up Appearances is a British sitcom created and written by Roy Clarke. It originally aired on BBC1 from 1990 to 1995 with two specials airing in 1997 and 2008 on PBS. The central character is an eccentric and snobbish middle class social climber, Hyacinth Bucket (Patricia Routledge), who insists that her surname is pronounced "Bouquet".[1] The show comprised five series and 44 episodes, four of which are Christmas specials. Production ended in 1995 after Routledge decided to move on to other projects. All 44 episodes have since been released on DVD.

How could it be possible that "all the cast died tragically" when half of them are still alive? Anyway, I loved this show and many other British sitcoms. My absolute favorite is "The Vicar of Dibley". I'm an American who is most grateful to the UK for giving us some quality television. Most American TV programs are junk.

Saw Geoffrey Hughes in a Pantomime here in Canada - he was wonderful. And it was fabulous for me to be able to take my kids to a pantomime here in Canada. It reminded me of my young days in Liverpool and going with my mom and dad and two brothers. We absolutely loved it - it was a Christmas tradition. Sadly they stopped the productions here.
