It sounds like the debut of this brand is a success. It’s in a pretty competitive price bracket, however, so I hope it doesn’t get lost. I think I’ll be picking up a set once m self imposed hiatus on purchasing IEMs is over… I definitely like to see how it stacks up against my S12 Pros which I paid $135 for and am very happy with. Maybe I’ll post a comparison video once I get the chance to try the Klanar. Well done on the review as usual!

Thanks. I was going to compare with the S12/Pro as well but I'm pressed for time with 11.11 coming up. I think the Klanar is more likely to gel with a broader auudience due to its nice bass and smooth treble (not smooth like MP145!)

Fair enough. I quite enjoy it. Nice separation of sound. Using a Tanchjim Space so that probably helps. Bit flat without.

Hi there, how would you compare it to the og tinhifi p1? I like your reviews they seem in line my own thoughts, and your description of these sounds like my style. I love the p1s but if i could make them better i would add some authority the sub bass area. Thanks for the reviews you do a great job.

Klanar definitely has more sub bass authority and a more forward treble. It's more dynamic than p1 and overall sounds quite different (but good).

Excellent review. I think I’ll pass on this one though. I’m a card toting member of the “Low Pinna Army”. This set has too much ear gain for my ears. I have three custom tuned S12s by Michael Bruce “Fat Earth” Fat Glamdring” and “Eru” that make my ears very happy atm. Keep the great content coming though. It’s always cool to see what is coming down the pike. Cheers.

Is ear gain part of iem specific tuning to make up for the fact sound isn't being collected by the rest of our outer ear structure? Is that where fatigue can come from if set too high?

@@spamcan9208 Yes, sort of…..ear gain is the same as pinna gain. It usually starts around 1k and peaks around 2.5k-4k depending on the tuning of the iem. I am particularly sensitive to that area. Too high and it can be fatiguing.. Cheers my friend.

Letshuoer S12 vs Kefine Klanar, ıcan buy now only Tri i3, Klanar, s12, Hidizs ms3, Simgot em6l. What's your advice? I want wide stage than tin C2(ı'm using now), and maybe subbas and seperation

Hmm I would say Klanar based on what you want, although accessories are bad. S12 Pro is better than s12 but brighter and might cost more.
