the tube is shipped out longer than the keg so you're meant to trim it to length so that it can flip flop around when the keg's on its side, Soaking in boiling water should help with straightening it out too.

Ordered mine ( 2 then, now 6) as soon as I saw them in the new arrival section. It's now in the back of the fridge. To make it easier I use a mini 360 with a soda stream tank. Then drilled a 11/16 hole in the fridge door, installed a shank and faucet. Currently contains 8 litres of 1842 Czech Pilsner. We are converting to these kegs. Also made an insulated box to hold two kegs. Mini 360 on the back connected with duotight fittings and eva tubing. Homemade 2 faucet tower. Should be great in the summer. And for traveling jam sessions. Storage is simply a one hand flip onto the storage shelf.

Lot to like about them really. Chill them, drop a few reuseable ice sticks in, could walk with one each paw good time anywhere surely?

Little tip : You would'nt have that much foam if you had removed the filter from the tube. There really is no point of using the filter if you are not dry hopping the keg or using it as a fermentor. Any hop material would be trapped on their way in the keg anyways, so nothing to filter on the way out. Anyways, can't wait to try it! Cheers!

Yellow for beer red for gass,the plastic conectors fit either plastic post .

Yup, we just find it easier to not hook up the wrong thing if we always use yellow for beer and red for gas.

This guy is hilarious. QUick question, do you guys fill the kegs up full? I thought we're supposed to leave a 25% headway?

Hi, yes you want to leave a bit of headspace. This allows the beer to carbonate faster than if the keg was completely full. Cheers

How much luck have people had serving it laying down in the regular fridge? It tends to roll all over the fridge unless you make little feet / doorstops for them. I also felt I needed to remove the pressure release valve and replace it with just a soda bottle cap as that can leak when the top is filled since it is on its side.

That's odd, it shouldn't leak. If it did then co2 would also escape. Maybe your prv was faulty?

How long it takes to caboginate 8 ltrs of beer?

Depends on the regulator pressure setting and how cold the beer is. 2 weeks at something like 12 psi or you could hook it up for a few days at 30psi. Or if you're in a rush hook it up at 20psi and shake it for like 30 seconds.
