阿部正先生がヤクザ狩りした時の戦法は、ともかく最初は逃げたとか聞きました。で、足の速さの差と体力の差でヤクザの集団がバラけたら、疲れた相手を一人ずつぶっ倒したとか。そして最終的にトイレ借りるフリして交番に入って、警察にヤクザを全部押し付けながら裏から逃げるという。

ヒロ渡邉先生が武術をある程度まで習得したらその先は自分なりの技術を磨かなくてはいけないというようなことを言っていましたが、白川先生も合気道の技術を基にさまざまな達人の先生たちと技術交流して自分なりの武術を磨きをかけていると感じました。そんな修行が(昭和風な)厳しく辛い感じではなく、和気藹々と楽しくやっているのがすごく良いですよね。皆さんの人柄だと思います！

Just because you have years of experience doesn't mean any techniques you perform are effective. Using beginners would be more impressive since they wouldn't know how the practitioner wants them to move and can't 'help' the technique work.

@@scottantonille784 Whenever you are thrown with a joint lock there are only two options available to you: you must either yield and fall down to alleviate the joint lock OR your joint will be destroyed and you will need months of recovery to regain the use of the joint. There are fights on the street that involve a skilled artist to apply a joint lock throw while their unskilled opponent fails to understand the meaning of the joint lock. The consequence is the joints are destroyed due to the non-intentional resistance to the joint lock. Untrained beginners in the martial art can also resist the joint locks without the intention to resist because they don't understand the implication of the joint lock, they are not yet trained to behave so that they properly alleviate the lock.

勉強になるよく逃げろって言われるけど、逃げ方って重要だと思ってて追って捕まえようって思われると体力勝負になると不利になるから。アイツを追いかけるのはやめようって思わせる事が重要だと思ってて、相手を倒す為の技術より生き残る為の技術が欲しいです。多人数に囲まれるって練習出来ないので凄く生き残る為に勉強になりました。

メチャクチャ豪華ですね。白川先生は探求心が強いので解るのですが普通やらないですよね。自分が弱く見えるようなシチュエーションなんてしかも門下生が視てる前で百凡の達人ほど虚栄心が強いですからね。でも達人お二方共、勿論空手王者のお二方もそれ面白そうですね。でやっちゃうんですね。

The sumo wrestler is being very polite. This video wouldn't be published if he were to actively resist or fight the Aikido practitioner. The Aikido practitioner is competent enough to know he must switch up the momentum-driven version of techniques to the joint lock focused versions of those techniques to compromise the balance of the sumo athlete. However there are still techniques presented where the sumo athlete could just refuse to be led by the Aikido practitioner which would leave the defender in a horrible position -- like under a sumo wrestler!
