A song that has "dance alone" 100 times in 3 min., that in the post chorus and chorus only has 2 chords (AM AND EM) that they repeats over and over again. Using a gimmick dance so they can hide how simple the music and the lyrics are. LOL Oh I am so affraid :D NOT
This song is just so overwhelming. It's like an anthem to some huge cinema movie or something. I can't get enough of listening. And now we have this performance to watch too. So well done, you guys. love you.
This song has everything. It's big, epic, emotional, ethnical, has good vocals. Basically everything you would want from a eurovision song. It feels like a song taken from a movie and I love that and it's not so often we hear these type of things. I don't even need to hear any of the other songs, this is already a clear winner to me. If this song goes through to eurovision Norway will win the televote again!

@@6891x imo all three of their voices blend a lot better in monuments, whereas in spirit in the sky everyone just had their own alternating solo parts. Yea Tom doesn’t have his own solo part in this song, but the small details had a big effect on me - e.g. the joik right before Alexandra’s high note is barely audible, but it really helped shape the atmosphere and building up to the moment of the note. Tom’s harmonies are wonderful too and although he’s more of a “support” for this song, his vocal abilities still shine through. Each of them are music stars of their own, and perhaps the jury last year didn’t like the way the three voices were combined, but imo this song does it much better. It might not win, but I believe it will still do better with the juries in comparison to last year
They did because in Norway, Melodi Grand Prix is a tradition. But what you say it's true, Monument is a winner alert that can bring Oslo 2022, which would be great! :D
Whoever wins this meloda always represents norway I think apart from last year as Eurovision didn't happen .. that's one of the reasons there onenif the countries sending a different act than last year which I still think is unfair to the act they was gonna send

This HAS to win! They sound better live then in the studio version - its incredible! If they improve on the staging as well (the staging felt a bit empty) then they could win the entire contest easily!
Sounds very good. I was surprised that it was all black and white, empty stage, terrible floor grafic, no exiting colors, no back drop. Hope they change Euphoria-rip off in the beginning of the song too. Should rather start with midnigh sun 😃 I want them to win!

I have had "Monument" on my brain for over a week now. Whenever my thoughts are "idle" it pops up. It's like: "What do I want for dinner?.... Thunder and GLOORIIIAAAAAA!"
I really hope they get to represent Norway! This is just stunning, you can't compare it with spirit in the sky as they are both quite different, but this is flawless! WELL DONE KEIINO!

@@jelena2167 Le problème, c'est que nous savons déjà que le jury n'apprécie à priori pas ce style de chansons. Il suffit de voir le classement obtenu par le jury par ce groupe en 2019. Heureusement que le public adhère. Mais pour gagner l'eurovision, il faut le jury et le public. Un seul des deux ne suffira pas. Emmy a plus de chances à mon avis.
@@Christophevalere Woaah, I attended French class only one semester during college, but I think I've managed to understand your reply (at least its point). I actually think there's a big chance that this song would do well with the juries. I mean...whether they like this style of songs or not, one can not easily ignore that high note at 2:37 (plus the fact that all three of them SLAYED it vocally so much that I like the live version of this song more than the recorded one). In addition to that (now this point is a little bit subjective so please don't judge), I think that "Monument" is generally speaking better than "Spirit in the Sky." I personally liked tehir entry in 2019, but it wasn't my favorite, when this year I can't stop listening to their song ever since I've heard it. Now that's my personal impression, so it doesn't have to mean anything, but maybe it will move other people (including the ones in juries) to vote for it. All in all, I hope that juries will recognize the quality and potential of "The Monument" in case it wins MGP.
Norway does not make the mistake of not sending KeiiNO to Eurovision, it is your chance, these artists are miracles, international voices, it is time for Norway to be someone and prove that it is possible, Romania is with you and KeiiNO supports you 12 points from Romanian side, great respect and take care of you
