Keilaniemi is especially known for the headquarters of large companies located there. The area has, among others, the headquarters of Accountor, Tieto-Evry, Kone, Fortum, Neste, Valmet and Rovio, as well as numerous smaller companies. The large headquarters buildings are characteristic landmarks of the area. The rise of the area to the center of the business world began in 1976, when then Neste headquarters, the current Accountor head office, or Accountor Tower, was completed there. The 20-story tower block is still the tallest office building in Finland.
