So true. On one side it is such a wonderful thing for Labour. On the other side, I would not want to be in their shoes because the country has been so messed up by the Conservatives that he has a huge load of mess to clean up. Good luck to him.

Respectful Greetings! British Nation. It is a privilege for me and the Angolan people to congratulate British Prime Minister Keir Starmer on his victory in the elections. Labour made many promises in the party’s quest to win the race, and keeping them will be a gargantuan task that will require tackling Britain’s biggest issues including the cost of living, immigration, and rebuilding the country’s services like the health and transportation systems. A mixture of poor policy and world events outside the government’s control has left the UK’s economy struggling, translating to wage stagnation and lack of investment in state services. I fully believe that God will guide your nation on the path of progress and I hope that British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer comes to Angola to strengthen diplomatic ties between our people. Success in your Governance - British Nation! Luís Van-Dúnem.

@leojin5838 28 дней назад
Well this is first past the post. You either have this which is not so representative and less democratic, or you have proportional representation, which is very representative and democratic, but produces really weak governments that fights over countless coalitions. And don’t say Germany, they only worked through proportional representation because throughout the decades they’ve already developed de-facto fixed coalition patterns and agreements, which won’t happen if a sudden change is made…

Not hard to be a prime minister: Ladies and gentlemen, citizens of the United Kingdom, I am Daniel Anderson, and I stand before you today as a voice for change. As a proud British citizen, I am here to propose a reformation of our very own Parliament, a Parliament that truly represents the people, and upholds the values we hold dear. The time has come for us to reclaim our freedom of speech. The time has come for us to have a voice that is heard, not silenced by the powers that be. We must demand a Parliament that listens, a Parliament that acts, and a Parliament that puts the interests of the people first. Our slogan is clear: "Action Now" and "Time for Change". It's time for us to take matters into our own hands and demand real change from our representatives. We must act now to address the pressing issues of our time. We must address the issue of immigration. We must eliminate the scourge of illegal immigration that plagues our nation. We must ensure that our borders are secure, and that only those who contribute positively to our society are granted entry. We must protect our jobs, our homes, and our way of life. We must defend our values and our culture. And, ladies and gentlemen, we must bring back the NHS to its former glory. We must make it the world's premier healthcare system once again. We must ensure that every citizen has access to quality healthcare, regardless of their background or financial situation. We must put our people's health and wellbeing above all else. We must invest in our hospitals, recruit more healthcare professionals, and ensure that every citizen has access to the care they need. We must restore the pride and dignity that once accompanied the NHS. We must ensure that our hospitals are clean, well-equipped, and staffed with compassionate professionals who care about their patients. We must put an end to long wait times, cancelled surgeries, and inadequate care. We must make the NHS a source of national pride once again, a symbol of our commitment to our people's health and wellbeing. We must maintain strong ties with the Commonwealth, a vital component of our nation's history and future. We must work together with our Commonwealth partners to promote peace, stability, and prosperity. We must uphold our shared values and support each other in times of need. We must also restore the British Navy to its former greatness. We must ensure that our naval forces are equipped with the latest technology and personnel, so that we can protect our interests and defend our nation. We must maintain a strong and capable naval presence to safeguard our trade routes, promote maritime security, and uphold our commitments to our allies. We must ensure that the United Kingdom leaves the European Union, as we were voted to do in the 2016 referendum. We must respect the will of the people and work towards a brighter future outside the EU. We must seize the opportunities that Brexit presents and make the most of our newfound sovereignty. But, my fellow Britons, it is not just about these issues alone. It is about giving you, the people, a voice. It is about giving you the power to demand action from your representatives. It is about giving you the right to hold those in power accountable. We must be the perfect alternative to Labour and Conservatives. We must be a party that is unafraid to challenge the status quo and deliver real change. We must be a party that puts the people first, not the party or political donors. It is time for a fresh start. It is time to dissolve all previous parties and start anew. We must build a political system from scratch, one that truly represents the people and their interests. This may be a difficult and challenging process, but I assure you, we will come out stronger and more united than ever before. We must reform our Parliament to ensure that it truly represents the people. This means implementing measures that allow citizens to directly petition their representatives, hold them accountable, and demand action on pressing matters. We must also ensure that our representatives are chosen by the people, not appointed by political parties or donors. We must eliminate corruption from our political system. This means implementing strict transparency measures, regulating political donations, and ensuring that our representatives are held accountable for their actions. We must make sure that the people's interests come first, not the interests of the elite or powerful. We must work together to build a stronger Britain, one that is self-sufficient, reliable, and stable. This means focusing on our nation's essential needs, creating jobs and opportunities for all, and promoting a healthier and happier society. We must take a proactive approach to solving our nation's problems, rather than just reacting to them. We must create a Britain that is reliable and trustworthy on the world stage. This means maintaining strong ties with our allies, promoting peace and stability, and upholding our values and principles. We must be a nation that others can count on, a nation that is willing to work with others to achieve common goals. We must create a Britain that is stable and prosperous for all. This means ensuring that our economy is strong

The BBC is funded independently of the government. The government has no control over its budget. That would be like suggesting that the government somehow give the revenue of Tescos over to the NHS

@@pastalover2757 you are correct. They are funded by subscription through royal charter which is deemed independent of the government. Now pass those funds to NHS and fyi every organization has a budget. A thorough forensic investigation by an independent body is required as to where the subscription and funds are coming from and that information is to be made public. Defund the BBC and pass that budget to NHS. Healthcare is more important than irrelevant media.

@@prasantdewan61 The BBC is one of the last things that makes Britain great. It’s one of the worlds only completely independent broadcasters, unlike other broadcasters it is bound by Royal Charter to remain politically neutral. I don’t want the UK to become like America and have to deal with toxic hyper partisan television such as Fox News and CNN. The BBC is also hugely important not just for us domestically, but abroad. Countries all around the world use the BBC due to the fact it’s world renowned as a unbiased and generally reliable source of information. And dozens of countries that are too poor to afford their own TV network rely on the BBC World Service for regular programming. The BBC is one of the last true vestiges of UK soft power abroad. Also the BBC doesn’t have to appeal to ratings unlike other networks so they are basically the only major network in the UK to run shows on nature, history, culture, and other important matters, whilst other channels are just pushing comedy shows and mind numbing reality TV which is better for ratings
