There's something about your first time in New York that makes you feel alone. Peter Pan to Port Authority for me. The movie stopped, we hit Washington Heights, and the tears just started flowing. And to anyone who's contemplating suicide, please call 988, call your doctor, call 911, or go to the ER. There's help out there.
So you find yourself at this subway When your world in a bag by your side And all at once it seemed like a good way You realized its the end of your life For what it's worth Here comes the train upon the track And there goes the pain it cuts to black Are you ready for the last act? To take a step you can't take back Take in all the punches you could take Took 'em all right on your chest Now the countless back is breaking Again, again For what it's worth Here comes the train upon the track And there goes the pain it cuts to black Are you ready for the last act? To take a step you can't take back Did she love you? Did she take you down? Was she on her knees when she kissed your crown? Tell me what you found Here comes the rain, so hold your hat And don't pray to God, cause He won't talk back Are you ready for the last act? To take a step you can't take back Back, back, back You can't take back Back, back, back So you find yourself at this subway When your world in a bag by your side 🌻
...a great scene that is seeking to find support between two complete strangers who NEED it... perhaps maybe, the BEST scene to EVER, set up a chance, beneficial dependency encounter between two down-on-their-luck characters. ...a scene from a truly GREAT Movie!
So you find yourself at the subway 너는 홀로 지하철을 기다리지 with your world in a bag by your side 너의 인생을 옆에 놓인 가방에 담아 and all at once what seemed like a good way 문득 잘됐구나 생각하지만 you realize is the end of the line 넌 알아 이게 마지막이란 걸 For what its worth... 그 의미야 어떻든 Here comes the train upon the track 선로를 따라 지하철이 들어오고 있어 There goes the pain it cuts to black 고통은 어둠 속에서 지워지네 Are you ready for the last act to take a step 마지막 한걸음을 내딛을 준비가 되었니? you can't take back 되돌아갈 수 없는 걸음이야 Take in all the puches you could take took them all right the the chin 넌 감당할 수 있는 많은 펀치를 받아들이지 and thought the camels back is breaking 그리고 넌 이제 아플 거야 again again for what it's worth 한번 더, 한번 더, 그게 무엇이든 Did she love you? 그녀가 너를 사랑했니? She has originally sung the song. And if we talk about the particular scene then as we know it's recorded, that's why the clarity. But yes, she has sung the song.
The scene is Keira lip-synching to what she recorded in a studio. Though it would be cool if she'd have been able to pull it off live. Especially if there were the Fantasia cello and piano going on! Actually, Keira might be really singing here, but the actual audio you hear is from the studio.
"et ne priez pas Dieu, car il ne répondra pas" c'est quoi ça et vous trouvez ça génial franchement, je n'écouterais pas cette chanson pour rien au monde
This movie is the most amazing thing ever. One of the best movies in the last 20 years. But, the song is about suicide right? He was just on the Metro and was standing very close to the ledge and now this song. Amazing and deep and I heard this somewhere - I didn't' come up with this myself.
It's one of the most powerful anti-suicide songs I've ever heard. The way Mark nods his head in time with the hi-hat, then the piano kicks in, the drum fill hits, and the strings play. It's in a major key, and the strings give it this uplifting feeling in spite of the darkest subject matter. One of my favorite movie scenes ever. To anyone contemplating suicide, please have courage and reach out to someone: call 988, go to the ER, call 911.
