I'm in love man. Since the Czech nationals, I've beem kindoff inspired by Kiran and am in love with his style. Overall I view yoyo as art much more then competing now. This video has it all, great shots, great tricks and in less than 3 minutes, even humor.
This was the most compelling yo-yo short film I have seen so far. (I consider some of the artistic performance submissions for the Online World Yoyo Contest short film too.) This is beautifully shot and the romantic tension adds the right amount of story to make the tricks more meaningful. The locations are incredible--especially the waterwheel shots. The slow spinning waterwheel and its shadow are a stark contrast to the hyper-fast spinning yo-yo. Thank you for this art.
I know nothing about Yo Yo, but happened upon a few videos of various Yo Yo competitors, and when I found Mr Cooper, I saw that Yo Yo, in certain hands, is a beautiful and expressive performance art. Bravo, Mr Cooper!
