I find if you plug the controller on to the wire which goes the the bike , its will moderate the power directly coming in , so the vest and the socks / insoles will only get the power selected on the controller.
Used these last March 2022 going over Spanish pyrenees -20c at peak, keis headed clothing from neck to toes, Tip with heated clothing wear waterproofs as added insulation and wind break, and then you never need more than Med setting on clothing to stay warm. Insoles difficult with high shin boots, socks perfect as wire not a problem.
Where are the heat panels or wires on the socks? Are they all over the foot and up the calf or are they more concentrated? I have the insoles but want to see of these are any better!
Hi Chris. The heat element is in the base of the sock just like the insoles. I had hoped they came over the toes more but no. However where they are better than the insoles is where the wires comes out of the calf area rather then around the heal in your boot so more comfortable to walk in. You don’t even know you’re wearing them
@@1903Productions I'm comfortable enough when riding the bike with the insoles....dont really notice the wires that much. I don't plan on walking far in my bike boots and of its only the Soles heated in the socks I cant see any point in buying them! Keis do some strange things.....why wouldnt they put more heated areas in the socks? Why would they change all the connections around so that nothing is compatible without adaptors etc! Sizing of jackets is different between the older and newer.....just annoying!
