This is a great way to relieve tension through the muscles that run along your spine without compressing the discs.
If you feel a clunky rocking motion rather than a smooth rocking motion from tail bone to shoulders... Then you need do a lot more of this stretch. :)
Also the rocking motion stimulates a thing called your vestibular system which can help improve neurological signalling but also may make some people nauseous.
30 - 45 seconds everyday is great to free up stiff lower backs
