Love the the cool/smart way Keith approaches song writing using new guitars and tuning that enhanced on comfort getting his “sound” and make playing songs easier live. I feel they inspired me time and time again with their rebellious nature really reflected the culture as well as the mind set of folks like me back in the day. All part of the sound track of my soul and all the great times back then. The journey continues -Keep going boys!
Awesome vid mate, That Harmony guitar, looks awesome! I love all this kind of brand Harmony, National, etc... I actually bought a 1963 Kay a few years ago and that's a great guitar. That's also affordable compared to other vintage guitars from some other brand

For me his most iconic guitar isn’t any of the featured instruments, its that big Gibson Hummingbird that he plays on Angie and Wild Horses in the sixties.

In his autobiography there's a picture of Richards in 2003 with an ALUMINUM Telecaster. I snagged one of those bodies that kinda... fell off the truck when they were being sent to Fender. I know it's whole provenance, but I'd love to HEAR it.
Obvious what the number 1 will be lol. But it's kind of sad that Sonny never makes it to these lists. It's every bit as cool as Micawber, but I guess two teles on a list is cheating.
It says on wiki that he has a collection of three thousand (!!!) guitars ! I don't know if this is confirmed but it seems kind of absurd. If i was as rich and famous as he is, I'd collect lots of guitars too, but i don't think i would exceed the three hundred at most.
