No pude ver ese recital. La primera vez que vino Keith Richards a Buenos Aires tenía 15 años pero pude ir cuando volvió con los Stones!!! Argentina Nación Stones
Richards is more notorious for his personal habits and excesses but it is his playing and especially his songwriting is where he really surpasses so many other players and rockers.
I bought the album the day it came out & it got better& better after a few listens!! 'Eileen' has such simplicity but has beautiful layers of melody too ! ❤️
@@alexkx8599 no ! that was the first time one of the Rolling Stones played Argentina : no promotion needed to sold out 50.000 futbol stadium Velez. After that he came back with the rest of the Stones in 1995 . ( 5 sold out River stadium 70.000 each night)
I always related this song to a lady named Elaine who I once knew. She was a Christian Missionary and she was a great help to me in straighting out my head at the time. I loved her like a second mother.
The driving force of The Rolling Stones is this guy, not that peacock front man. I won't mention any names, but his initials are Mick Jagger. Until I got this CD, I had no idea Keith had such a good voice. Stones weren't known for their vocals, really couldn't hear Keith. But I read he was in a boys' choir until his voice changed. Great song, Keith. P.S. One of my faves is one their first: The Last Time. Mr. Watts was a perfect complement.
I love Keith's solo career because of Argentina, I'm colombian and that country trully loves Keith, not sure if even more than the Stones or probably equally, there was a sort of argentinian MTV that would play Keith like 5 times a day, couldn't get tired of it, it became my fav Stones member!
I was told recently by a musician friend that Eileen is one of the best songs Keith Richards has written. He was blown away by the song!! 👍😎🎷✌️♥️🌟💋💕😄🎥🎸
He put together a great Band & says he also learned a lot about Mick's 'job' being the Frontman!! Ultimately it's always been about The Stones for Keith! Thankfully ❤️ ps Eileen is one of his very best.
Dan Johnson, After the 50’s, when all the outlaws had been shut down, it was the Stones, Beatles and all the others brought back real rock and roll. Rock and Roll scared the people in charge
El mejor tema y q mas perduro solista de Keith, q buen video con el sonido en vivo de la ida de un Stone a Argentina; por suerte lo vimos a Los Stones en Montevideo! Saludos desde Uruguay a todos los fans de la vecina orilla.
