I haven't seen The Fault in our Stars in a long time, so I wouldn't be able to give the best opinion. This movie really deserves a lot more attention than it has, though. :)
his words make you think. if you don't get this scene here it is, when he means he cut out early he's saying that he stopped caring about life and treatment for his cancer and just let it go. he had a plan to die. but he met her and he said everything changed. when he says 'you're the worst thing that's happened to me' he means he loves her and wants to be with her but he knows he can't and his time is running out. this is such a beautiful movie and scene. in the beginning he was messing with her but they both knew there were some deeper feelings forming and so he pushed himself away and hid his feelings by acting like a jerk. when they come back from having sex he tells her to forget about the whole thing when we all know it's killing him to say that to her. he keeps a smirk on until she leaves but when she closes the door his face drops. you can tell he hates doing this to her and himself. he continues to do this the whole movie but gives up at the end when she opens up to him. his face is so full of emotion when he speaks in this scene im just in love. HIGHLY recommend you watch this movie.
This movie was amazing. I love this scene because like the rest of the movie, the subtleties between the two are deep. When Keith said "face it Anderson, I screwed you" - he meant emotional damage; but because she gave herself to him she was thinking different - her response "Me, I made love to you". Rattled him. Vice Versa "And you are so amazing. And I..I (I think she thought he would say I love you but; the meaning of life of just being with that special person) just wanted a little more time"..that is deeper than I love you. At least this is my interpretation. Love this scene...
he loved her so much. he showed it in a way that nobody else can... in a way that only they could understand. and i think that is what this story is about...
I cant stand this movie. It played with my emotions way too much. lol I love it. I'll probably just watch it every day for the next million years. It's so perfect, especially this scene. But WHY? I just want a happy ending for once. All I ever do is cry in movies...
+Ramsha Stypayhorlikson I watch it at least twice a month.. it may be a chick movie like some people call it. but for me is some motivation to keep on moving with life.. you never know when your leaving this earth ..
He excepted his faith until he met her he loved her and hated her at the same time for making him want a little more time I hate the movie ended with her cleaning out his locker death couldn't let him even finish school semester wonderful movie
true. i think she was. cause everyone needs to clean their lockers, so she did th honors to clean Keith's locker and placed it in a suitcase which keith carried in the "good bye scene" . both practical and a symbol of letting him bring his memories with her through those things.
LIterally the best movie I have ever watched.. period. Keith just grabs you so stronly.. pulls you in & does not let go for hours & days .. it left me hollow from the inside.. and THIS scene.. made me bawl like a baby... gosh I wish i could rewatch it with zero memories again & again & again
"And you are so....amazing...."..... That line just gets me everytime....Why am I doing this to myself???? AMAZING movie...so saaaddd....he should've lived....×_×……
I just finished watching this movie a few minutes ago & honestly, it's probably one of the best movies I've ever seen.I love it,such a great but sad movie
this was one of the BEST movies i've seen in a long time. Her emotion when she is banging down his door begging him to answer and his face when he realizes he can't push her away no matter how much he tries then him FINALLY tells her the truth of his emotions... new cult fav.
I cant believe I just watched this for the first time in 2012 freakin four years has passed by that I could have had this movie in my life. Makes me wonder what other great, amazing, wonderful, awesomely sad, romantic, crazy movies I have missed out on over the years. I effin love this movie. its now one of my top five...
just to let every one know if your confused...in the sene were he says "you dont know how close it is" you know after he did the truck and cliff thing. he ment you dont know how close his death is. when he said "i wanted more time" he ment more time to live and love her. when he said "your the worst thing that could have happened to me" he meant because he would have liked to die not know he left her and he is afraid of not having her or some stuff like that. any questions just ask me!!!! ;D
this came out at the beginning of my freshman year of college...brought back the memories of pressure that i had to deal with during my senior year of high school with school and sports.
This is just amazing. I've watched this a couple of times already, but it always feel like I've watched it for the first time. It's just beautiful yet depressing. You wouldn't have expected a better ending.
I watched Keith every single night over the summer holidays because I was so in love with the movie and just didn't want it to stop. Every time I watched it I'd cry and wished that I could meet a girl like Natalie :)
OMFG I only saw this movie like 3 days ago and I've just kept repeating it. I can't stop thinking about it and this is one of my fave scenes. Made mw cry so much :'( love Jesse mcartney x
idk..but this part really touched my heart..even how much he pushes her away, she still holds on and stands for what she believes..i'll do the same if i'm on her situation.
I don't know what it is about this movie that is so great, I love it so much. Their (mostly his) facial expressions when you can just see their love is beautiful in this scene! I have seen this movie over 20 times and still cry everytime.
@@jovenfrantzborigas4554 iba talaga. sobrang sad na nakaka saya kasi naging happy din sya bago namaalam pero the fact na namaalam parin sya just damn hurts. sad how some people have to leave too early . 😿

@@jovenfrantzborigas4554 hahahhaa ayoko kalimutan, ganda ng storyline talaga. sobrang genuine ng acting. parang totoo talaga. lupet. recommend ko din to sa iba hahhaaha
God I remember discovering this movie one summer night online and I fell in love with it even though I was young and didn't fully understand it.. but it was beautiful. The dynamic between them was so fucked up but it was the kind of love everyone has to experience atleast once in their lifetime.
This was my favorite scene. It was so packed with emotions and it is so powerful and raw, like the scene where Natalie admits her love for Keith. They are both phenomenal actors. Also where Keith tells Natalie that he screwed her and she has the guts to say that she made love to him and to try again was so moving. Not many people would do that. I admire her character a lot. This is my favorite movie. The characters are so strong and deep.
"But then I met you and things got weird. And you were so...amazing. And I......I just wanted a little more time." This is the best thing I have ever scene
Alright but am I the only one not happy with the way she treated Raf? Lmao he still didn't deserve to be cheated on.. the guy literally did nothing wrong
@SianVanityxo - Exactly my thoughts! I wasn't expecting much from this movie at first, but after I watched it, I was (and still am) so overwhelmed by the story and the perfect way of telling/showing it, that for a few minutes I just sat there in front of the screen, thinking "What the hack did just happen?". Love this movie so much!
He knows that he's dying. He has a limited time on Earth and he knows which is why he is so impulsive and spontaneous throughout the movie. Meeting her made him wish that he had more time to live.
i have to say when i first watched the trailer a few years ago, i didnt think it would be that great of a movie but was i wrong!!!! This is one of the only movies that actually made me cry! :) it was so amazing and has been one of my my favourites since i first saw it.
@msjackasses229 He has cancer and is dying. He had made his peace with dying before he met Natalie but met her and fell in love and she made him want to stay and made him want more time on this earth because of HER. Basically it is probably the best compliment a person can get in this lifetime. How many people can say they want to stay in this hell hole for another person? It is intense and an incredible story line. Probably the most touching scenes in a movie I have ever seen.
Tree Adams - Try Again (Spiked Heels) is the song, It was the first thing I looked up after i watched this movie, now Im making a CD with it and other various sad, make you cry your freakin eyes out, songs. hope i helped you!!! have a great day!!!
I was this for the first time last summer...still love it and have come to the conclusion that it is one of the most true love stories I've ever seen...
