I agree. Whitley occasionally performed unreleased material at concerts. If he played this at one of them to gauge the audience’s reaction, they probably would’ve cried applauding him. Had he lived longer, he may have talked RCA into releasing it.

@@scottnowak6162 and sadly enough I believe RCA and how they treated Keith Whitley probably was a huge factor and Keith Whitley's quote on quote accidentally overdose which could have been intentional due to his depression based on Lori Morgan possibly going behind his back and RCA's threats of dropping him if you didn't quit drinking.

You're welcome! I had trouble transcribing a number of his demos due to the sound quality and his annunciation, so I spent hours going back and forth on every word that was sung. Needless to say, I'm a perfectionist and one small error drives me nuts.

Brad, we all miss Keith Whitley. Keith had an addiction long before Lorie came along. Its very sad, if you ever get the chance check out the documentaries on this subject. You might have a new understanding. I work with addicts, if someone doesn't want to change, this is usually the end result. Sorry Man just telling the truth.

@@derickkeaton5440 so since you work with addicts you know his whole story? I guess if a person drinks over a divorce death or life changing event or suffers from depression there an addict? So if someone turns to drinking there the same as somebody who robs steals ect to get there fix?

@@derickkeaton5440 I did watch the documentary on him. He was a young kid who traveled and hung out with older guys. His brother died in a motorcycle accident. He robbed himself instead of his family and friends to put a needle in his arm and end up in prison. But most of you counselors have your guide to judge people on whats right or wrong then preach religion ect. Preach away but sometimes love can make or break somebody whos already broken and feels no self worth. I suppose this subject will be one we can agree to disagree on

@@bradliptak7247 Don't misconstrue my words Brad. Keith was an alcoholic . Look his life up. Keith Whitley was my favorite singer. His music is timeless but he needed alcohol to function. Every addiction has one thing in common. The word addiction.

@@bradliptak7247 exactly, Keith traveled with Ralph Stanley an band. Along with Ricky Skaggs. Alot of tragedy in the Whitley family too. That is a tough family. Good people
