I'm very impressed with the sound on this recording. Incredibly clear for being recorded on probably an early camcorder. The mix is so good and the band sounds just like a record. Keith was and is still the Greatest!!!!
Keith whitley was such a great singer / artist we lost him way too soon. He would of been big today you can't get country music like this today. R.I.P YOU WILL ALWAYS BE ONE OF THE GREATEST & YOU WILL ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED & LOVED. THANKS FOR ALL THE GREAT MUSIC & MEMORIES
If Keith was still alive today and had continued his musical career, I firmly believe he would’ve been chosen as the King of Country over George Strait. His range, tone, diversity, and depth of emotion was just so raw! Keith was unparalleled in my opinion. He is the number 1 artist I wish I had the chance to see. Unfortunately, I was born years after he died so I never got the chance. Make no mistake Keith left an INCREDIBLE impact on Country music and his memory will live on forever as long as this world keeps spinning! He may be gone but he will never be forgotten!
When you see Keith Whitney's earlier performances such as Austin City Limits the sparkle in his eye and his smile in the last performances before he died he lost it but his sound was still great
You know, I heard Lori say in an interview the same thing you just mentioned in your comment. I wonder what was going on to make that sparkle disappear? Was it something he said / did but he was ashamed of, or was he just getting tired of the road, or maybe he was tired of fighting his addiction. I guess unfortunately we'll never know.

Gosh, he was just amazing sounded just as he did on record.. I would have loved to have seen him live. I was too young back then, as I was 8 and don't know if he ever came around my parts. Such a beautiful voice, I LOVE Miami my Amy. Beautiful song.
Mr. Lucky I thought you closed up years ago are you the same owner that played fiddle with the house band in 1989? You used to let me and my guitar player and me join the band for the last set.
