​@@cicijones6065Yes 💔 and verbal abuse in front of the child. It's very terrible. It actually makes me teary eyed. She included it in the police report so you know it genuinely hurt her. Words definitely hurt, let alone his fists. She's so self aware....so seeing a woman like her go through this is always something that makes you speechless or despondent, because WHAT IS MISSING? How do we stop this from happening? We want to protect our daughters from the low self esteem trap that makes them tolerate harmful lovers. So we do our best to empower them and warn them, as modern women. I'm not putting her on a pedestal as a celebrity, I'm just scared because she knows better and still reached here so I still have to worry about all my friends and relatives that also display that they know better. Not everyone survives domestic abuse. That's why Eve had to sing Love Is Blind 😣. I hate the idea of women dying and leaving their kids and family behind because they loved the wrong man. In the past our parents didn't air dirty laundry so young girls were disillusioned about relationships and expected happy endings. And we gave men so much say so and priority in our lives. We approached relationships in naive ways. We were taught it is our job to fix broken men and accepting abuse proved your loyalty and your virtue. Thinking you'll be rewarded for staying one miraculous day. But KeKe's generation, we know that's crap. We are hyper aware of infidelity, we are aware about insecurity and control issues, we know that babies don't make them stay and don't make them stop bad behavior, we know the signs of lust vs love... We *know* and we don't shame separations or divorce the same as the past generation. So HOW do we *still* end up here? Why don't women leave when the red flags are raised? Why don't women as smart and as beautiful as Keke Palmer feel comfortable rejecting men that are not up to par? They give them chances and try to fix this and that and then it reaches this point. Not leaving after the first physical attack nor the second. Knowing you don't deserve that. It really puzzles my mind. Knowing there are men out there that would never scream at you let alone actually hit you, but you just don't believe you'll find one so you entertain someone that belongs behind bars. 💔. If knowledge can't stop low self-esteem what will?? We value ourselves outside of our looks and home making skills we take pride in our brains so how are women still removing their brains from romantic relationships and allowing their selves to actually be harmed by dusty axx men? It's crazy. I know you don't have the answer I just had to leave my full thoughts/question somewhere. I don't want her to leave one abuser just to end up with another one. I want her low self-esteem to actually be CURED. To be *gone* . I want that for ALL of us. All men and women, but especially women. Being a mother with a broken heart is not easy. Muscling through it isn't the same as healing. My Mom went through this, she left my father after I was born. But all these years later she still has low self esteem and has never been loved correctly by anyone.

He obviously had a lot of issues that had never been resolved, whatever they were about. We gotta be able to see a situation and a person for what it really is and who they really sre.
