For a long time, I'd not seen Dr. Reuben Abati unbiased and objective in a discussion!!! In this discussion with Mr. Effiong, I must state that Abati was EXCELLENT and actually came across as a unbiased presenter/host. Mr. Effiong is a BRILLIANT lawyer. It was a delight listening to him.

As a Nigerian sharing the opinion of most Nigerians, have next to zero confidence in the justice system of Nigeria and I believe it's one of the reasons why Nigerians are resulting to jungle justice because they do not trust the justice system in Nigeria to give true and unbiased justice.

Justice Kudirat Kekere Ekun judging from her positions in some major landmark judgements that helped erode public trust in Nigeria's judiciary, she is not only complicit, but she is part and parcel of the endemic corruption going on in the Apex Court in Nigeria, Supreme court. So for me, i don't believe anything will change as regards building public trust and confidence in our judicial system. I want to ask, why did NJC wait for Justice Mary Odili to retire before Justice Tanko was eased out? If Justice Kekere Ekun were to be Igbo, we would have seen an extension of the term of Justice Ariwola against the tradition and constitutional provisions. This is a pattern Nigeria has chosen.
