I thought this was going to be something that I would have to send my PF9 in to have done. Thank you for making a video to show how simple it is to change.
I noticed that I could disassemble the pistol to this point, but I never thought of actually replacing the grip. Not sure why I did not think of that. It took me a good while to figure out you have to push down on the barrel hood when reassembling the pistol. I must had accidentally got it right 20 times before I figured out why it did not work every time.
Great video, Chad! Looks like you've worked on a few PF-9s. :-) This video made me appreciate the engineering that went into the PF-9 even more. Definitely some clever stuff there. 1:50 To go with that knockout board, I highly recommend the 4 ounce brass hammer and a set of punches from Grace. Excellent quality and reasonable price for well made domestic manufactured tools. The Grace roll pin punches are also very good for working on an AR-15. I usually like doing the most with the least, but times like this, I like having the right tool for the job.
