Today I help my friend John install his Kelderman front air suspension in his 92 dodge w250. Check it out as John walks us through the install and his first impressions of the front air ride system. He's also purchased the rear air suspension system and plans on installing it on the truck at a later date. Good times with good people..more to come.

I didn't know Kelderman made a front kit for these trucks but most could sure use it!

Definitely costs some money to buy it but experiencing the difference it made makes me want one in my truck!

I remember a time before I had kids when I could give my truck some loving. I put the sky jacker 6 leaf packs in my 93. They handle an 8 ft plow no problem. No sag in front end and I ran 35’s.

@ram_diesel_power6039 I run 37's on that same lift. I haven't put my front drive shaft in, and I need a new power steering box now.

Great video as always, l installed the front and rear bags on my 1993 dodge in 1998 and ran it for 240000 miles pulling a 35’ fifth wheel and loved it thanks David

Kudos to the killderman people for making parts for the first GEN dodge water people just blow us off man I don’t even wanna look at us they treat us like we’re child molesters or something like that anyhow I appreciate what you’re doing I’ll be honest with you anytime you use airbags there’s always a possibility of failure I just replaced my leaf springs from an outfit near Philadelphia Pennsylvania can’t remember their name I got it downstairs but anyways it’s all American made steel and I had my second leaf go all the way to the front of the leafspring that way there’s no you don’t have that job 6 inches or so without the main leaf being supported anyhow these guys they make Wii springs and suspensions for 18 wheelers and things like that but anyway this is a six in a row Jim From Kennerdell PA good job on your truck dude

Yes there is alaways the possibility of bag failure but in this case a couple of the factory springs are still there and worst case it would just max out on the bump stops and shouldn't be any damage. Thanks for watching!

That was a real interesting Soft Ride upgrade. Are you going to do a follow-up for the rear install he did. Body roll is completely eliminated now ? Impressive. Thanks for posting it 👍

Once he figures out what's going on with the rear we'll likely make a video on the rear installation with first impressions as well. I would say the body roll was definitely controlled! Cheers, thanks for watching.

Juan de Fuca my memory serves me right that’s Washington state that’s where I bought my first GEN dodge in 1998 I subcontracted to cheap tow hell of an organization anyhow all dodge still going over 500,000 miles

Highly recommended after riding in the truck yesterday! Can confirm even just the fronts make a massive difference. Coming out of the parking lot onto the street typically you'd get jolted into the roof but with these...no issue. Haha.

As far as I’m concerned generally speaking the first GEN dodge is still the best of the bunch granted the new trucks can tow more they can haul more they’re more comfortable there better in every category except for cost of ownership reliability you can’t beat the first GEN dodge for reliability are just can’t do it on my truck I can go out there right now and it’s probably about 10° outside hit that he grid crank over maybe maybe three revolutions and it’s running

What's the height of the lower bracket, from the bottom of the bottom plate to the top of the top plate?

I don’t know what kind of lubricants you use in your old Dodge but I run Amsoil products and I’ve had real good luck with them over the years for example on my front end it’s still tight and it’s all factory original parts none of the plastic cups were changed and the king pins and all that are all original know I know they last a long time anyways even if you Brisen with regular grease they’ll still last a long time well superior to the new trucks what can I fucking say anyhow I notice she had Bill Steen shocks on there good job and anyway this is six in a row jim Again saying have a good day oh thank you for what you do on your search and rescue and things like that I guess you belong to a fire department

Thanks six in a row Jim! Yes I run all amsoil on my red truck. Ol' Blue just gets the basics because it's my "beater truck".

It would have been nice to know the offset and the dimensions of all the bracketry so some of us could make it at home ourselves

Definitely looks DIY-able. Dimensions would make things easier but I think just getting the right bags would make things pretty self explanatory.

Anyone have any ideas on steering upgrades you can run with this setup? Since you cant run a lift with this setup, but crossover steering requires a 2" lift

Pretty sure John's truck has a 2 inch lift or level on the front I'll text and ask him
