*Kelly O'Hara is one of my favorite players. She always gives her team 100%. Washington Spirit was successful in 2021, in part, for the contribution of O'Hara and Sonnet in the backline. Unfortunately, both of them were injured for a long period of time in 2022*

Kelly currently represents all that is intended by the Olympics torch bearers as it would apply to USWNT. She has a fully informed spiritual center to her being that represents the world of Women’s Elite Athletics. Too much of our society is content with the sacrifice of their young daughters throughout the vital time of their younger development in order to “lay them at the Altar” of College and Professional Sports. The present results of the Yates Investigation shines a high intensity, although too narrow of a beam of light on a small and most unfortunate portion of this vital segment in our society. The final findings of this investigation is not a totally different outcome than those which have preceded it. How long must we have no alternative to the demoralizing treatment of our societies “lesser members” than “shut up and take it”? We may praise them on the pitch in their mythical uniforms, but we will set the flame to their spirit on the fenced in fields of the practice field. 😢 JimR

OMG...KO is looking down the path of not being on next world cup roster because of her ongoing injuries and NOTHING was mentioned about staring down the end of her career! Sad.
