Yep kelly is the vocalist of my generation . I’m 35. I heard a moment like this , her studio recording , and was like yep. She has it . That’s what America voted and done right. Even over me. I wanted Justin to win because he was cute .at time .

I admit, I was waiting for something off. That song has some difficult bits. And voices change as we age. Brittany Spears, for example, she's can still sing, no doubt, but she can't hit the same notes she did as a teen. But Kelly nailed that. Her rendition of Blue Bayou was really really nice as well.

I have been listening to this song so many times and for so long, and sung by so many people that I forgot the impact that it had on me first time I came across it. I've really admired Kelly Clarkson for some years, the voice is superlative. However... her admiration of Radiohead has propelled her to a new high. Absolutely super Kelly. Only criticism... she should give herself another minute on the song. They're always harshly edited versions.
