Ignore the haters. You do a great job reacting. Happy to share some Kelly facts. She won season 1 of American idol 20 years ago. She has released 7 albums of original material (Meaning of life is the title song of her most recent record) plus 2 Christmas albums. A new album is due this year. For a look at her personality, watch an episode of her talk show. People who know her all say she is the same person both on and off camera. Always happy to turn new people on to Kelly. I'm a drum teacher at School of Rock and so many rockers are unaware of how good Kelly is.

Ignore naysayers; no one knows every artist or music out there. I'm in my sixties and don't recognize 80% of the songs she covers, so I look for the original artist to compare. Kelly comes out on top every time! But, I admit to being prejudiced cause I fell in love with her through Idol. I'm enjoying your reactions to her. She's amazing. It's fun to see someone else finally "getting" her. Your responses are honest, and endearing to see. The songs on this album are all original Kelly songs. It's an amazing album. It was her first album after finishing her Idol contract and she says it's the album she's always wanted to make. Jason Halbert is her music director who's been with her since her Idol win. She credits him for being where she's at. You're right, she is very confident about what she can do with her voice. She's adorable and funny, but once she hits the stage, the professional takes over. I've seen close to 200 concerts, and hers is one of the best I've attended. One of the few artists that sound just as good in person.

I have been listening to her early days and it's astounding how she has improved. Her singing in her bathroom in Montana to a cell phone during the pandemic got me. I always liked her, but now I love her. She makes me feel emotion and it's like fuel to live.

This is such a goated performance and song of hers! Whole Lotta Woman is a big favorite from this same album, you should totally react to the live version at the Billboard Music Awards. First, your in real time commentary is what drew me to this channel! Never stop talking! Second, yes it is her original song. Your reaction to this is my favorite of anyone's. Don't worry about it! Kelly Clarkson won American Idol on September 4, 2002. It will be 20 years in September since she won American Idol. Kelly is the most versatile singer I have ever heard. She does covers on her show every single day of other people's songs. She sings them like they are her own songs. A lot of people have said that she sings them even better than the original singers. I agree with that 100%!! Kelly draws you into every song that she sings; whether it's a sad song, happy song, or any other song. Her musical director is Jason Halbert and this song is written by Kelly Clarkson. This is the first album that she wrote since she is not contractually obligated with RCA records since American Idol. She is with the Atlantic records now where she can do whatever she pleases. They don't limit her as to what she gets to sing like the RC records did for the first 15 years after American Idol. When Kelly signed for her as the American Idol, she was contractually obligated to have RCA records as her label for 15 years. In 2018 Kelly Clarkson came out with this album, The Meaning of Life. Most of the song she sang on her were written by her. This is the kind of music that she wanted to sing ever since she won American Idol. Now she gets to do it under the Atlantic Records label.

His name is Jason. He was the music director on Idol her season. He left to become her music director. Also, yes. It's hers. She wrote/co-wrote the majority of the songs on that particular project.

I only started watching Kelly last September. And seriously, of all the reactors that I have seen, you are the most entertaining and relatable. I think you would really enjoy Kelly singing She used to be mine on her Kellyoke part of her show. It's from a musical called Waitress. The cast requested that she sing it. However, due to a tight schedule she was unable to rehearse it. She sang it with her backup singer Jessie conducting her off camera. Kelly of course delivered a flawless performance.

I can't really box this song in.. It's an experimental/unconventional, gempacked, semi-neurotic, soulfull, theatrical masterpiece..or something? The aestetics, the subtle addition of that organ is epic, the right use of dirty sounding brass, that piano rythmic chord, the background vocalists and then Kelly Clarkson on her bare feet slaying it. This is definitely a KC original and It's more than ok you aren't a Kelly expert that's all we want is for people to know she's incredible! Her band is also fucking amazing and I love that you give them their props most of them have been with her for a really long time! Jason Halbert is her music director Jessi and Bridget are 2 of the back up singers unfortunately Nicole passed away not too long ago :( Lester is her drummer love him so much! Aben is the guitarist in these videos but she has Jaco on her show and then normally Kyle is her bass player but I actually didn't see him in here the more I watch.
