Kelly Clarkson's really good at making those empowering/motivational songs that you listen to when you need to feel inspired or make a change in your life. I wish there were more songs that are so uplifting and empowering.
36 comments about Doom Patrol!!! This is beautiful!! Larry you are my hero and Danny you are my love. And Maura Lee Karupt was amazing. I shed a tear when I saw Cliff and the little kid dancing. Beautiful chapter, beautiful song and beautiful interpretation.
I love this song myself. I'm a child free mentally challenged middle aged single man. I have got mild anxiety disorder and mild depression and mild attention deficit disorder. I have been bullied by others all of my life for being different. This song makes me feel better about myself. I love listening to uplifting songs like this song. Music is my best friend.
I have similar issues. PTSD, depression, anxiety, ADHD, ASD, librafluid, poly and demi-pan. I've only been able to put a name to these things in the last couple years, but I've always been... "different," and most "normal" people sadly aren't very kind to such individuals. You're seen, my dude. Hang in there. It's all we can do sometimes.
Larry, people who bully and tease others are unhappy people who are hurting. What they do to you had absolutely nothing to do with you. I hope you realize they are trying to hurt others because they think it will make them feel better and help forget their pain. . They go after easier targets just because it’s easier. Imagine someone being genuinely happy and content with their lives. Can you see them bullying others. Of course not. If anything they would go out of their way to be kind. I wish you the absolute best Larry, you got this.
What i like most about kelly clarkson is that she's not like the rest female singer her song are inspiring and had a message and a meaning in the same also she does not dress in a sluty way Her style is elegant powerfull class and good but not disturbing and messy like miley i love you to death kelly
I think she has crazy talent in her voice and sing but sometimes i think she lacks talents on stage like moves or facial expression or something like that.
While Kelly is a great singer. I don't think she is underrated. Her music videos have millions of views. I am a fan of several singers who are mostly unknown in the US. People like Roy Khan (former lead singer of Kamelot, current lead singer of Conception), Tommy Karevik (current lead singer of Kamelot), Alexz Johnson, Karine Hannah, Delta Goodrem, Toby Hitchcock (Pride of Lions), Chez Kane, etc. Some of Karine Hannah's videos only have hundreds of views. Even though she has a big, powerful voice that impressed the likes of Celine Dion (Karine sang at her wedding) and songwriter Jim Steinman.
I have a mental illness and this song makes me feel like kelly is singing to the people like me and those who go through other disorders. I love this song. Makes me feel not alone... thanks Kelly
We currently live in a reality whereby we have to seek value and love with a desire that is resilient. The world prefers to feed us programmed things that leads us into becoming sheeple. Switch to non fluoridated toothpaste as well xxx
I had to go through hell only to be diagnosed with bipolar disorder. You are nothing but another patient to these doctors pretending to help you only so they can make money off of you. Don't let their callousness bring you down!!!!
I am sorry that you all have these illnesses. I don’t know from personal experience, but my brother has schizophrenia. It’s horrible how people get their lives stolen from them.
Kelly, this is one of my favorite newer and modern day songs that moves me. Next to "Breakaway" , which is moving, and "Behind These Hazel Eyes", I'd listen and watch this song and music video a lot! You go, girl!
This is one of my all time favorite Kelly songs. I’m sad it’s not more popular. I used to listen to this song over and over back in high school. It never gets old.
While this version is still pretty good, I like the Doom Patrol version more mostly because the singing in that version sounds more natural and Larry's hand movements and facial expressions along with everything else you see in the scene add a lot more to the experience, but that's just me. Also, 3:32 reminds me of Doom Patrol when all the Dannyzens assembled to watch Maura Lee beat up Darren.
Kelly Clarkson creates music that can literary speak to everyone in some way. And her voice is great. She should be more famous than most other famous "artists" out there who are always on television for no reason.
I completely agree, but she has said she just wants to make music and the fame comes with it. So she definitely should be more famous, but she in a sense chooses not to be. It makes me mad how these Katy Perry's Taylor Swifts sell more cd's and tickets but in the end, as long as Kelly keeps putting out awesome music than I am ok with that!!! Plus having met her twice she really is the most genuine person in the industry, it was pretty unbelievable she would remember a fan she met 18 months later. Just shows how grounded she is.
randomness777seven Yes. She really is a modest and genuine person. That's what I mostly like about her personality. I started listening to her because she was nice but I kept listening because her music is amazing. :)
Hey, everybody loses it Everybody wants to throw it all away sometimes And, hey, I know what you're going through Don't let it get the best of you You'll make it out alive Oh, people like us We've gotta stick together Keep your head up Nothing lasts forever Here's to the damned, to the lost and forgotten It's hard to get high when you're living on the bottom Oh, oh, oh We are all misfits living in a world on fire Oh, oh, oh Sing it for the people like us The people like us Hey, this is not a funeral It's a revolution After all your tears have turned to rage Just wait, everything will be ok Even when you're feeling like it's going down in flames Oh, people like us We've gotta stick together Keep your head up Nothing lasts forever Here's to the damned, to the lost and forgotten It's hard to get high when you're living on the bottom Oh, oh, oh We are all misfits living in a world on fire Oh, oh, oh Sing it for the people like us The people like us Oh, oh, oh You just gotta turn it up loud when the flames get higher Oh, oh, oh Sing it for the people like us The people like us They can't do nothing to you They can't do nothing to me This is the life that we choose This is the life that we lead So throw your fists in the air Come out, come out, if you dare Tonight we're gonna change forever Everybody loses it Everybody wants to throw it all away sometimes Oh, people like us We've gotta stick together Keep your head up Nothing lasts forever Here's to the damned, to the lost and forgotten It's hard to get high when you're living on the bottom Oh, oh, oh We are all misfits living in a world on fire Oh, oh, oh Sing it for the people like us The people like us Oh, oh, oh You just gotta turn it up loud when the flames get higher Oh, oh, oh Sing it for the people like us The people like us Oh, oh, oh We are all misfits living in a world on fire Oh, oh, oh Sing it for the people like us The people like us Oh, oh, oh You just gotta turn it up loud when the flames get higher Oh, oh, oh Sing it for the people like us The people like us
I love so so so much this song. It takes me to a place where I dont have to care about being different because its me and thats what really matters. Thank you Kelly
I love this song so much. I always feel like no one understands me,, I cant find a friend who will be simillar to me and this song gives me such a power. I love it so much
I found a friend two years ago. She moved and the phone number she gave me doesn’t work anymore .... I was even worse after that because the friends I have now are moving too.....
What is really happening? Songs and videos like this definitely need to get uprated and recognised and not those trash songs like Whip Nae Nae. What is special about it that it is about to hit a billion views mark? Kelly makes such an inspirational and emotional songs, but her videos and music are so much underrated. Sad to see this all. 😔😔
I was expecting to have to search for one or two Doom Patrol comments. Instead, I went through 23 comments before finding one that wasn't about Doom Patrol! I'm proud of our community!
This song helped me out A LOT in 2014 when I was first diagnosed with depression and I was in hospital, helpless 😰❤️❤️❤️😭😭 nostalgic!!!!!! And emo. ♥️♥️♥️ still beautiful wow!
I lost my dear wife last year. My mind went to a very deep, dark place. I had to seek professional help. I’m recovering now. But this song really speaks to me. Thank you Kelly for singing an anthem to those of us with problems other people don’t want to talk about.
As an adult who was diagnosed aged 34 with mild Aspergers/high functioning autism (which answered SO MANY QUESTIONS about why there was “something wrong” with me) I ADORE this song so much ❤❤
@@SL-dk2tb a new dc universe serie,i begin to look the episode and i find it pretty good that the song in the serie but you better look the serie from the begining before looking this clip for the context ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1vojrVQeOYI.html
Alexis Garcia In 6th grade another kid tried to bully me... I beat him up behind some trees when there weren't any teachers around and he never bothered me again.
I've been bullied by a large group and so one day I went over to them and punched the ringleader after listening to the song and somehow the teacher who saw just gave me a thumbs up and walked away!
Late to the party - but this song speaks so much to me! The lyrics 'They can't do nothing to you, they can't do nothing to me This is the life that we choose, this is the life that we bleed So throw your fists in the air, come out, come out if you dare Tonight we're gonna change forever' from a gay persons perspective is just so on point that each time i hear them I cry with joy!
Kelly is such an incredible woman. As an artist, a business woman, a mother and so much more. She does it all. If I ever got that the chance to talk to her even just an fb chat, that would be a dream come true. So many questions I would ask, and how much I want her to know how inspiring she is for me.
Thanks so much ma for supporting me with your likes and comment. You can reach me out on Official. kellyclarksonm2@gmail.com I’m giving out the opportunity to speak to the first 50 persons
@@stevenmiguel7965 that depends on what stage in her career you’re talking about. In her earlier years it would be Since “You’ve Been Gone” or “Behind These Hazel Eyes” Later albums is really hard to say. I love Stronger, Piece By Piece, Catch My Breath, Heartbeat Song, My Life Would Suck Without You, Dark Side, I Do Not Hookup, A Moment Like This, and a lot more.
@@WhatSayCrochet I would say both stage of her career is amazing but her earlier stage was a boost.... wow all that was amazing song from her you see she's incredible lol.... I like miss independent, since you been gone, and i do not hook up ... is she your favourite artist? Mine is elvis presley
When the little girl brushed Kelly’s face I just bawled 🥲🥲 this is such a powerful song and I’m so glad my local mall was playing it today and reminded what a masterpiece this is
When you're different, they treat you like a pet... They keep you...they run tests on you... Difference is a good thing. Not everybody has to be the same...
I'm unique and they actually run tests on me. I have two air sacks connected to my lungs because my lungs fail often. Another factor is that I'm cold blooded.i have eyes that's change from a gold to black and red. My skin is pale and cold as ice and I'm NOT considered a human.
Kelly, two things. One, happy birthday! And two, this song is now my favorite song by you. This and "Breakaway". They're both great, catchy, and moving, too. You go, girl!

I just time travelled through my RU-vid history, and apparently I've been listening to this since April 29th, 2014. This song has helped me through many a rough patch tbh.
I only saw some clips of that show, then they had this song in it. Broke my heart. Fascinating and beautiful when the internet lives up to its potential.
Me too, I had listened to this song way before the series first aired. But you should really watch the scence where they sing this song !! It really fits well with the episode, the version is really good.
Broke my heart when they showed that it was a daydream and Larry still couldn't accept himself for who he is. Haven't finished the show yet; I hope so much he does.
SPOILER: Just re-watched this episode today and noticed something that made it okay! When Cyborg and Larry get transported back to Doom Manor, Larry is singing, and when he realizes they're not on Danny the Street anymore, he looks around and goes "Was I really that bad?" OMG, it made me so happy to know that he finally just embraced himself and let loose! That scene just about brings me to tears every time.
@@alphasqueen8247 spoiler to those that have not seen this amazing show. I honestly had wet eyes when Larry met his lover again after 50+ years and he died after getting to talk to him again. I was like poor Larry he has had so much happen to him he deserves something good to happen to him.
This is the best video clip ever. It touches my soul and it reminds us all that there is still good in this world and there are people that believe and have dignity and fight for a free mind and free thoughts! Kelly, this is the best song ever! Thank you!!!
+chris renshaw Can't be. Kelly wasn't pregnant in 2013. She only recently gave birth to River in late 2014/early 2015, when she was recording "Piece By Piece".
Kelly, this is one of your best songs that I'd listen to all the time. It's always got a great beat and it's very motivational. Even when anyone needs help with being happy. You go, girl!
