I would love for Kelly to do a second Rom-Com Ranking that includes other great movies such as: How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, 13 Going on 30, While You Were Sleeping, Notting Hill, Serendipity, Maid in Manhattan, Overboard, One Fine Day, Pretty Woman and Jerry Maguire ❤️
"While You Were Sleeping" and "Four Weddings and a Funeral" should've been on the list. Some others that aren't necessarily thought of as "rom-coms" but have a ton of romance AND comedy and I've watched a million times are "Princess Bride", "Amelie", "Enchanted", "She's the Man", and "Say Anything" (for the boombox scene alone!)
This is one of the best segments that the show has ever done! 🎉 I would love for Kelly to rank other movie/TV/music genres and titles, as well! 👏🏻 It would also be a lot of fun to see Kelly rank everything from ice cream flavors and pasta sauces to types of cakes and donuts! ☺️
Love the movie Hitch with Will Smith, Eva Mendez, and Kevin James. Great character development, funny, good advice about women, loved the vulnerability.
Oh how fun! 1 P.S. I Love You 2 Four Weddings and a Funeral 3 When Harry Met Sally 4 While You Were Sleeping 5 French Kiss 6 The Holiday 7 Pretty Women 8 Sweet Home Alabama 9 Notting Hill 10 50 First Dates I love this one Kelly! 👑✌️🐲
Crossing delancy Noting hill When harry met sally 4 weggings... bridsmaids Brigget jones 10 things i hate ... While you were sleeping These are the best for me
*LOL* I’m sorry, but I thought “From Justin to Kelly” was adorable! Are we talking Oscar material? Of course not! But if you go into it just to enjoy it for what it is, c’mon! Cheesy in the cutest possible way!
Love Actually, Runaway Bride, While You Were Sleeping, The Goodbye Girl, Four Weddings and a Funeral, Because I Said So, The Devil Wears Prada, 27 Dresses... so, so many!!
Round 2 please! There are still a ton of great romcoms out there (Runaway Bride, Love & Basketball, Notting Hill, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, A Knight’s Tale, Save the Last Dance, etc.)! 10 things I hate about you would be #1 for me! That’s one of my favorite movies of all time and so nostalgic for me! The Wedding Singer would be #2, Sweet Home Alabama #3, & You’ve Got Mail would be #4 for me. Some of the older ones I haven’t seen so I should probably remedy that. Loved this! 💙
1. Sleepless in Seattle 2. The Holiday 3. Notting Hill 4. Bridget Jones Diary 5. 13 going on 30 6. Love Actually 7. Something’s gotta give 8. Bride and Prejudice 9. Two weeks Notice 10. You’ve got mail ❤
"My Best Friend's Wedding" will always be my #1. And there is definitely no soundtrack like it. The music when the moment passes them by... Gets me every time. 🤧
Thanks to Kelly, I rented “It’s Complicated” and am LOVING it! Would have never even thought about watching it - and so happy I am. ❤ Thanks!!! Happy Valentine/Galentine month!!! 😊
This was fun to watch! There are so many good Rom-Com reading all the comments I keep thinking I forgot that, Oh loved that. If I had to use Kelly's list 10 things about you, sleepless in Seattle, The wedding singer, it's complicated, Sweet Home Alabama, My Best Friends Wedding, You've got mail, The Proposal, When Harry Met Sally, Sorry never watched Kelly and Justin (If I did it may of been higher), There are so many other The Princess Bride, Ella Enchanted, 13 going on 30, Pretty Women, Cutting Edge, Overboard, Cluessless, Never Been Kissed, Sixteen Candles, Pillow Talk, Gidget, So many more that I know I am forgetting and love!
I loved this segment and loved how enthusiastic Kelly was. From Justin to Kelly 😂. I saw that once on DVD. The only part about that movie that I liked was when she sang “Anytime”. And if anyone hasn’t seen it, the new rom rom “Anyone but you” with Sweeney and Powell is quite charming and funny.
10) The Wedding Date 9) As Good As it Gets 8) Notting Hill 7) Sweet Home Alabama 6) While You Were Sleeping 5) Sleepless in Seattle 4) 10 Things I Hate About You 3) You've Got Mail 2) Love Actually 1) When Harry Met Sally
Where’s 50 First Dates with Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore?? Why didn’t they include it in this ranking? She tossed out from Justin to Kelly, she should have put it at #10.
1. When Harry Met Sally 2. Breakfast At Tiffany's 3. My Big Fat Greek Wedding 4. Meet Joe Black 5. 50 First Dates 6. Princess Bride 7. Mystic Pizza 8. Maid In Manhattan 9. Runaway Bride 10. Paris Movie With Owen Wilson
One of the best rom coms that so many have never seen. Return To Me with David Duchovney and Minnie Driver. It's a Bonnie Hunt movie and she's also in it. You must watch it.
i've watch so many romcom ranking this week and i haven't seen any of those include maid in manhattan, or any JLO romcom movies, i feel like she is one of the romcom pioneer.
Her mistake was putting The Proposal so high straight out of the gate 😂 The Wedding Singer, You’ve Got Mail, and 10 Things I Hate About You would be my top three from these choices.
Kelly, I have Never seen Its Complicated, i obviously have to watch a lot of great people are in it, i don't know how I missed this one. Love you Kelly ❤❤❤ Happy Galentines Day !!!! Enjoy your Gals !!!!!!
This was so much fun to watch! I did my own ranking alongside Kelly's, which was a neat challenge. My top three ended up being my three favourites from the list, although not quite in the correct order
My personal list, but of course there's a ton I haven't watched it yet 1 Just go with it 2 The proposal 3 Just like Heaven 4 50 First Dates 5 27 Dresses 6 How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days 7 Sweet Home Alabama 8 Pretty Woman 9 The Ugly Truth 10 O palestrante (🇧🇷)
this probably dates me but my favorite "rom com" is What's Up Doc with Barbra Streisand and Ryan O'Neil - I can't get through that movie without my face and stomach hurting - it's hilarious
On that list The Wedding Singer would have been my number one. My favorite rom coms are Runaway Bride, Because I Said So, Somethings Gotta Give, PS I Love You, He's Just Not That Into You, How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days, Something Borrowed, Failure To Launch, Overboard, The Lake House, Return To Me, An Affair To Remember, and While You Were Sleeping.
OMG, Kelly! I have got to know that you’ve watched these two Rom-Coms?!!! The Back-up Plan with Jennifer Lopez and The Switch with Jason Bateman and Jennifer Anniston OR Three Christmas’s with Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn!!! I agree! It’s Complicated and The Proposal are both classics!!!
For those that love Rom-Coms and Rom-Drams on TV, consider trying some K-Dramas. Korean TV series tend to put a single story into an entire, single season of shows. This gives the series greater depth, similar to how some books are adapted into a season of episodes. If you dislike subtitles, you can even try it out by choosing a series that has an English dub available (such as Business Proposal, A Time Called You, or Hometown Cha Cha Cha). If you get addicted, you might then be motivated to get comfortable with the even larger catalog of non-dubbed choices, such as the super-popular classic Crash Landing On You, or the more recent King The Land. Kelly mentioned that she loves bookstores, so that made me think that she might like Romance Is A Bonus Book (it involves people working at a book publisher, and has many scenes in book stores).
I miss the heyday of rom coms but so glad our generation got them. Also I still really think Kelly needs to watch j2k again. I know her experience will always color it but after you watch it every yr for over a decade it becomes even more fun lol
50 first dates, I just recently watched The Wedding Planner again after a few years. One of my all time favorites is Pride and Prejudice..but idk if that's really a Rom/Com. More like a ROM/DRAM...lol
Just Like Heaven is such an underrated rom-com! ☺️ I enjoy Mark Ruffalo and Reese Witherspoon's dynamic just as much as Mark and Jennifer Garner's in 13 Going on 30. ❤️
I love Meg Ryan movies... one of my favorites is Prelude to a Kiss (with Alec Balwin), and Joe versus the Volcano (with Tom Hanks) there are so many great Meg Ryan movies.... too many to list! You should just do Top 10 favorite Meg Ryan movies, that would be difficult to rank.
If I'm being honest, I'd rank From Justin to Kelly a six or seven. I loved that movie growing up (still do) and watched it 9000 times. I know Kelly hates she made it but I appreciate it lol Madness is such a great song, too. I still jam that.
Loving that a lot of my faves are in the comments already, like The Holiday, Notting Hill, and While You Were Sleeping (which I just rewatched). But I need Legally Blonde on here! And honestly, I grew up on Hello Dolly, so that would make my list.
