Welsh singer and producer Kelly Lee Owens performed her debut headline show at the Servant Jazz Quarters in Dalston earlier in the year.
Owens has been building up momentum recently after dropping two limited 12″s and appearing on Daniel Avery’s acclaimed Drone Logic LP, and FACT spent the day with her as she prepared for the milestone show.

Why do they all describe her as "weird" or a variation thereof? That's weird. I mean these sorts of artists have been around for a while. It sort of takes away from how cool she is

I hope you realize 4 years later that weird doesn’t have to be a negative and can be true with cool. I would argue to be normal isn’t “cool”. Wouldn’t you have to be weird/abnormal?

@@AML147 Four years later I don't remember what I was thinking or the contents of the video but I'm sure you're right. The cool thing is that I was thinking about her and trying to remember her name and you just reminded me!
