@@kingofrescue1993 I've done it many times. It can brighten someone's day or even their entire life. We all too often talk highly of people when we get up to speak at their funeral, but rarely tell the living how we feel.

John Pullum I definitely agree! I also think writing a thank you letter and reading it to that person is so important because so much of our communication is done via texts/typing. That makes a hand written letter mean so much more to people I think. Hand written letters are becoming a thing of the past sadly.

@@kelli3585202 Thanks for the reply. I think some people might have a hard time reading it in front of the person or not be able to make it to them, but it's a great idea. YES, a handwritten letter or card sent in the mail it the only way to go with this. There is nothing like getting a real card or letter in the mail to get your attention. It shows you took a little time to do it rather than a fast text or email. Even if you don't write out an entire heartfelt letter just letting the person know you were thinking of them will make their day. I did a video on my channel a few years back about depression and suicide and talked about reaching out to people to let them know you care. You never know at what dark point in someone's life your card will reach them and change their day and life for the better.

As the president of the cruise ship said you are the type of person that people would want to invite over for Thanksgiving. You come across more as everyone's friend that they've known forever that is incredibly talented rather than a celebrity you can't really connect with. Maybe I should write all this in a letter and send it to you? :)
