Kelpsea is SUPER Underrated in Palworld

That character is so fun and memorable and I still watch that intro every time it plays, and it's so short too. Compare that to Pokemon's what's-her-name who I spent hours watching streamers talk to and all I can remember of her is "omg I wanna battle you can we do one battle real quick? And after that let's do another one and then another hehehe I just love pokemon battling soooo much omg" I honestly don't hate her, she's probably one of the better characters in that game and is kinda quirky which is nice. I'm just saying that's about everything I can remember from watching all her dialogues. Palworld characters, on the other hand, manage to interest you with just 10 seconds of screen time. Just the names Lily & Lyleen are already a fun combination and make you wonder what their connection is. Their character design radiates personality and you actually want to find out about the lore yourself instead of getting everything dumped on you through repeating and tiring dialogues. I mean look, you don't even need words when they are that expressive with just facial expressions alone.

And I mean to be fair, maybe one other memorable character in the last pokemon game was probably the office corporate slave guy, and he's pretty memeable but that's about it. And I almost forget but iono is actually pretty fun! The other characters including the mom, the teachers, the star team, or even the chad professor all feel kinda... Bland and generic and uh haven't we seen these exact archetypes in the previous pokemon games? I just couldn't stay interested enough to watch someone else finish the game, much less play it myself. I used to love pokemon but man, isn't it disappointing now.

The free pal alliance are so interesting due to lily and lyleen lily had ordered the free pal alliance members to obviously be nice to pals but as everyone im sure has seen they kill pals anyway this is due to them not making enough money with "conventional means" so they resort to things lily had deemed immoral but she has no idea this is going on behind her back and this makes the free pal alliance actually compelling to me

How can this pal be the worst when it increases attack of water pals, clearly useful for stacking damage

Some one clearly has a sweet tooth. :3 I also want woolipop, shame it doesn't have a unique attack skill related to candy.

Most people actually like to play the game for what it is. Good things take time, and the feeling u achieve after a time consuming achievement far exceeds if u don’t. Also “perfect stat” is optimized. In my eyes I like having only 50% flying speed as there’s no need for the extra 15%, that being taken out u have room for much beneficial trait like attack or defense. People just need to gatekeep some info until actual release, cause if not this’ll get ruined before it even gets established

@xdShazak I'm not playing on PC so i dont know the IV's for it but it's final stat was 2100+ attack before adding the owls into the party to boost attack. I didn't want to sit around and endlessly hatch owls for 4 perfect ones and boosting all of them.

@imnotagamer22 Like I said, it still takes a lot of time because you have to wait on the eggs to be laid. He can play however he wants, was just trying to help. Waiting on the incubator doesn't add any game play it's a lot of standing around waiting for something to happen.

I have a close to maxed vanwyrm as my main going into this game blind when i first got it. has musclehead, vanguard, swift, ferocious. not going to lie here, one of the most overlooked pals in the game! Its on par with my shadowbek. so many people gloss over the edgy birb but this sucker packs a nasty punch.

Both are underappreciated. Chillet is a cornerstone to the player-attack build (like, actual endgame-tier, dragon typing on player attacks is actually huge). Vanwyrm is similar, and has odd hitboxes making it pretty defensive too especially when Alpha. Both are very easy to max out too, in comparison to other pals. And even then they're still comparable. Really the only thing that's lacking in regards to Chillet is that there's no dragon-boosting pals like Kelpsea from what I've known of, but its ok, because there's always Gobfin.

Thats correct! Which means any pal in this game can be really powerful which i love!

The pal iv and instant hatch timers are mods from nexusmods. They are not included in the vanilla game

This is true if i only wanted to use water type moves, but i like having different type moves on each pal for any situation

I was gonna do this but then decided against it, as i would like all pals i create to be universal so they can be decent in any situation, thanks for the comment tho!

I made an OP elizabee on my channel (granted she does have Lucky instead of Musclehead) and she has 2924 attack power. A 3000+ attack Elizabee is possible and I actually acquired one after I recorded the video.

@@CommandoBlack123 You keep Kelpsea in the party for the stacking buff it provides. Not use it as a main damage dealer. It's not S tier, but it definitely isn't D tier either, like what the tier list "experts" claim.

No. Kelpsea's partner skill is to increase Attack stat of Water Pals. This same skill can be found in all type except Dragon across several Pals. Edit: Thus, its best pair is actually Suzaku Aqua, but Vanguard is still nice anyway.

@@CommandoBlack123 Just went to watch it. Can't tell who's in your party or see their passive skills are though. and I'm saying I think you should do a video comparison because before I watched this one, my curiosity was 'why are you using Ferocious and Musclehead? Wouldn't I just want Vanguard and other stat buffs that increases mine and other pals?" I mean if I'm wrong, I'd like to see it. I like to compare different strategies but maybe that's just me ;)

@@genryu_strike7992 Oh so it doesn't only increase water attacks? It seems like that's the case when water damage is applied to the player and his Kelpsea's earth attacks weren't doing so impressive against a electric boss pal. To me, the only reason he was doing 700+ was because of the level gap between pal and boss. I'm sure it might increase water pal's defense and attack but does it really do anything for other elemental attacks from a water pal?

Ive seen you’ve commented this about 5 times now, yea obviously having the best setup stomps anything, these videos show that even the “worst” pals can do substantial damage

@@CDiinky You can't call something underrated and then show that it performs 30 times slower than one of the best builds.
