This is not a near death experience. A near death experience is when you go to the other side experience it and then come back to tell the story. There are stories of it all over RU-vid, but this is not one of them.
There was this one woman that died and unlike Mr. Happy-Helperton that gave his unwanted, Long opinion on here to my comment, she had NO brain waves at all. Putting an end to his long unwanted comment to me.
@@kalea2507Pam Reynolds' surgery? Amazing experience! Her body was cooled to below hypothermic levels, heart was stopped, blood drained from her brain, clickers in her ears with ECG monitoring to ensure no brain activity. And post-op, she could tell ER staff what happened while she was "brain dead."
It was probably best that Kelsey didn't talk about the sitcom he had at the time, "Hank". The show was a flop with the ratings and critics, and ABC cancelled it after only five of the ten episodes produced had aired.
Like really like Kelsey Grammer, mostly what I, as a TV viewer, know of this Frasier role (great, funny show). And also what I know about his teenage life, and the tragic passing of his sister. Not sure about everything else, and his plastic looking ex-wife.
Best thing in difficult situations IS LAUGHTER !!!! Lighten up and you live better longer. People without humor die way before those who can laugh at life's troubles. FACT😅
HE DID NOT have an NDE, he had a CLOSE CALL. I am glad he is OK and looking so good and happy, but I wish people would stop misusing the term NDE which means going to the other side and coming back
Your comment made me think. Wouldn’t what we call NDE’s actually be Death Experiences? The person actually dies but comes back. So a true NDE would be when you almost die but don’t. Just thinking. I’ve got time.
I've had a heart attack and heart failure. The heart failure entailed complete blockage and me passing out four times, once for fifteen seconds. I now have my pacemaker and feel great. Wonders of modern medicine. Good on ya, Kelsey.
I wish they would STOP using the term "Near-Death" to describe someone that "almost died", like Kelsey did, rather than its proper use, which is where someone describes a "Near Death Experience" or NDE. I don't know if this was done intentionally, for click bait, or if they simply don't understand the difference between the two. But calling something a "Near-Death Experience" as the videos title states is very specific and means it was an NDE, not just someone who "almost died" or was in a "near-fatal" situation. The two are vastly different. Very annoying.

@@ob2249 "y0u make a distincti0n where there isn`t 0ne". L'et's prove your little theory wrong, shall we?: Please type NDE into Google and also into RU-vid, and then count the first 1000 hits in each and tell me how many of those are what you would term "almost died" situations vs people having a metaphysical experience. Then tell me again how you think there is no distinction. Go ahead, we'll wait... And no, I'm not religious. People who have had NDE experiences span all religions, no religion, all ages, and all time periods. It's only that science has not yet caught up to what is truly happening, but eventually it will. It would be like trying to explain FM radio or Bluetooth connections to someone from the 1600's. If you attempted to do so, Intellectuals would be ranting and raving about how "invisible" communication was "impossible." And the Church and the common folks would label you are some kind of witch, charlatan, or devil. That's kind of where we still are today with the stigma of speaking openly about non-physical communication with energy or "spirit" beings from outside of the physical plane. Millions of NDE accounts throughout all of human history. Surely you don't think everyone just "made it all up", do you?
People don't know, when they feel symptoms of heart attack or strock, to just put a big pinch of cayenne pepper powder under their tongue. This will stop the heart attack or a stroke in three minutes. I tried it with someone, it really worked. Since then, i always carried a bottle of cayenne pepper in my purse. If i am going out and forget it, i come back to grab ot.
He's been through soooooooo much his father was murdered his sister was raped and murdered brothers died in a diving accident..don't judge until you do your research..he didn't loose his mind ever..he had issues with alcohol during Fraiser and his cast helped him through..if you don't know the man don't comment on the man.. Tossed salads and scrambled eggs like none should ever experience. Love is the way ❤
People who don’t know about NDEs think coming close to death is a near death experience. I’ve seen stories like “person almost bitten by lion” titled as a near death experience. I’ve always thought the name should be changed to “death experience” or something similar so it’s a bit more clear
@@KristenCarneyComedy I agree. I don't refer to mine as anything but a death experience. You die, pass into other dimensions and often reluctantly return, forever changed. All the Best to you!

A near death experience, nde is when you catch a glimpse of heaven or hell, strictly speaking. This is kind of mislabeled as he had no experience like that. More correct to say Kelsey Grammar was close to death. Glad he's ok.
@maryangeladouglas I think there's something to NDEs, but how can you base your argument on something that is technically not provable? "glimpse of heaven or hell, strictly speaking." And the term "near death" may commonly suggest a transcendent experience, but Kelsey did "die" and was brought back in time to survive. Maybe there's something to the distinction - maybe Kelsey's spirit never left his body, or something else - but we don't really know. All we know is, he died and was revived.

Ooh! Ooh! Let me tell you about my heart episode. I went to see my doctor for my semi-annual checkup. I hadn't been feeling very well for a while and I told her so. She listened to my chest with a stethoscope and five minutes later I'm on my way to the hospital. For a couple of days the staff in ICU use a little of this and a little of that to see how I'd respond. Finally, my doc says they're going stop my heart. But just for a moment. I say sure. They wheel me into surgery. It's cold and I'm impatient to get the show on the road. I ask a fellow wearing scrubs nearby when we're going to get started. He says, "We're done," and they wheel me back to my room. It's strange to have an unguessed amount of time snipped seamlessly from your life, like frames from a film.
I'd really like to meet him. I like to meet celebritites and He is in my top 10... This is not an N.D.E. that is where you heart stops (and more) and you leave your bod.. ee! but are back/restored after time with consciousness in-between.😀
Suicide and Why? I have had so many people ask me why he or she committed suicide. Now I will tell you. It is a space, a space where no one else can reach you. It is the emptiness of all emptiness'; it is depression. I had a million things to hold on to, but nothing could fill the space of time. You can hear yourself laughing, and you can feel yourself smile, and your everyday experiences just keep rolling by. Did I brush my teeth this morning? Did I fill the car with fuel? Did I say goodbye to the children? Did I forget something on my shopping list? What did I forget? I had planned to have tea with my friends. But nothing seems to connect. It is just a space within a space. It is not that we forget. It is just time. You never know when it will happen again, and you don't know whether it will ever stop, and you pray to God that it will end quickly. You think of a million of things that would hold you here, and then all thoughts disappear, and once again, you are left with the emptiness of space. It is a space of depression of all time; it does not mean that we do not love our loved ones, and it does not mean we do not want to be happy. It is a time frame of one second of one moment in time. I do know it is very hard to explain. But I do know it is a sickness, and I know it is always with me, at all times, just waiting. And when there is no one else with us, we look to the sky for answers, but there is none. We feel ourselves turning and twisting inside, trying to keep the thoughts away; sometimes, it is just like a flick of a switch, and a light comes in, and once again, we are ourselves. People used to tell me that God does not forgive suicides. I can tell you they are wrong. There is always someone waiting, waiting for that one moment of time when we feel once more the time frame of life and death and all it holds. I have heard that phrase many times; there is no other way to explain it when we say a moment of time; that is exactly what it is. I asked for forgiveness from our loved ones for not holding their hand a little longer. Be not the judge, and you shall not be judged, for this is the beginning and not the end. Once again, we will journey through time. And find the place that holds us safely until, once more, we will return to the things we love and miss most. To find a place of belonging and contentment, a place where we can forgive ourselves. But most of all, it is a place where we can return to our loved ones and try to help them understand the ways of suicide. Please do not judge us, and please forgive us. By Pam McCagh.
To the critics of the title: It does really seem to have been a near death experience. Not a death experience. The people who have a "leaving of the body" experience did actually die, and were subsequently resuscitated. Now THAT is a death experience - Kelsey's experience was only "near death", because he didn't actually die at any point.
I had to have a pacemaker fitted, they usually fit it on the left side just under the collar bone. Because I'm a guitarist and my guitar strap go's over that shoulder I asked the DR to put it on the right side, so he did. I live in Australia so we drive on the left side of the road. I was so pleased with my decision to put the pacemaker on the right side, until I got in my car and put the seat belt on.😣🤣🤣
It's called a re=perfusion arrhythmia, when some toxins from the affected muscles tissue are released and interferes with the normal electrical activity. It's fairly common and people are "usually" resuscitated successfully.
It took EMTs an hour to get to him? Imagine if he was a regular person, not a Hollywood celebrity, the ambulance would have gotten to him several hours later!
