As an aces fan, I am extremely excited that we won this game! However, I understand that this is a series and not just a game… That said, we have to keep our pedal to the metal because anyone with eyes saw how the refs were trying to help the liberty win. We will not have the crowd to galvanize us when we get to New York. And I’m sure they are going to make adjustments to get JJ and Laney more involved… Plus Sabrina plays way better at home… And remember Stokes does not shoot. So, It is extremely important that we win game two!
During the first half, we were tight. But our guards really played excellent defense and kept Sabrina and Vandersloot from going off. MJ had some wild leaning shots, but I love to see the hands in there with steals and breaking up the lanes from Aces guards. So happy with this win!
