Life in this current generation seems to be tedious and difficult. We're battling with inflation, mental health and family breakups. Sometimes it becomes so overwhelming that the only sane thing to do is to give up. But this is the same feeling the disciples had when Jesus told them of His departure. They felt hopeless and even at death, some literally gave up. Yet Christ promised them a helper. A helper for all of us that seek to find and understand Him. Our helper keeps our drowning spirits afloat. He rejuvenates our souls. He empowers and nourishes our hearts. He enriches us with wisdom, knowledge and discernment to keep up in faith. As long as we have the Spirit of God in us, we should not fret or be weary, He will sustain us to the end of days. We have our helper. We are not alone.
