STL in the da House!!! I was in high school from 88-91. I first heard about Cali Gangs in St. Louis around 87. When it came to the Bloods in the Lou, it was The Inglewood Family, 62 Brims, Crenshaw Mafia, and Pirus. When it came to the Crips, I remember hearing Kitchen Crips, Rolling 60's, East Coast Crips and Hoovers. There's a video on RU-vid with some guys from Crenshaw Mafia in Los Angeles speaking on making a set in St.Louis. The Crips and Bloods turned St.Louis out during my high school years. Great interview. Should out to al my people from Walnut Park, Hyde Park and JVL
60's was everywhere with no structure! didnt care about crenshaw crew, reason as to why the mariners hat was never accepted! Kemo spoke the truth! much love!
I'm from Pagedale 60 Crip and I moved to LA off Crenshaw and Florence and they was cool for the most part I used to bbq and the whole block was embraceful for the most part they was cool
@@jamesnevitt3400 wasn't nobody from STL trippin off no cats from new Orleans like that. Lol. For what? Regardless to wherever you from if you went to a city outside of yours made good and made it bakc alive it's a win. That go for everybody. Wherever u from and wherever u go.
Ion think my hood wasn’t officially put on by somebody from LA. I think my hood adopted the bangin’ but my neighborhood was well-known before the Blood/Crip/Deuce shit hit. I’m the from JVL, 4reaL and I can recall my family being down there waaaaay before the bangin. I’d like to say the guys a little older than me, picked up dat shit.
@@viewsfromthearch Yeah that's what somebody older told me years ago. I was told dudes used to wear that Pittsburgh cap, making it stand for JVL Posse.
Dramasquad is a clique, sorta like what bmb or dtt was. The kitchen crips are Dayton street and 92uece are Gamble Street, both are in JVL. Drama squad was started by teenagers from those areas you named during the early 2000’s
U prolly was doing since the 80s in Atlanta but I’m from st.louis and I been bacc and forth to Atlanta since 92 wit the blue rags on and Atlanta niggas didn’t know wat it was !!!niggaz was not cripin or bloodin in Atlanta ,,now they had they own hoods but it wasn’t a color on it ,,I done been from Bankhead to Decatur and not have no problems,,but in st.louis if go from the west side to the north side u getting pressed on immediately prolly dumped on all kinda shit this was bacc in 92
It’s some sets here tht was put on by Cali bloccs, like Big Porky nem from 87KC, Trigga from TTP the with bloods, etc…Love from the Baden Stone Blocc NH60💙💛💚 S/O to the OPAC Laide Stone or Ronald L Jones💙💛💚 13/44/21
Definitely turned it n2 our own thing. No doubt it originally came from Cali. We wasn't respecting shit. No organization amongst us. Dam sure wasn't reporting to no cats out of town or state
But that's why we lost no identity just fake ass crips n bloods wit no structure tell me how that's worked out we didn't need it and crips n bloods in Da Lou has been a huge failure in our community
@@glassboi5401 man STFU. How tf u know? Like it was a meeting and you was there or some sh*t. U sound dum and goofy asf. Yeah mfs jumped off n2 the crip and blood thing. So! So did a thousand other cities and towns. And it was some cats from Cali that came thru and put it down. Some still here and standing strong. Grown men talking like this about this kind of stuff is so sad and pathetic. These videos are all the same, "we was cool then we seen Colors and shooting and getting shot for no reason looked like a lot of fun." Is the culture really that easily persuaded into negative, destructive behavior? I mean Colors wasn't even that good of a movie. They obviously missed the end where this lifestyle doesnt end well for anyone.
Idk how easily the culture is persuaded, but I can say my title persuaded a grown man like yourself to listen to other grown men talk about this stuff. And that’s kinda sad and pathe…. Nevermind, I’m sure you get it.
