Kemper Profiling Amp - Same Amp with different Guitars 

Es wurden zwei Profile mit verschiedenen Gitarren gemacht und danach mit der gleichen Gitarre das gleiche aufgenommen um zu sehen ob die Gitarre beim profiling einen Einfluß aufs Profil hat. Die Gitarre wird beim Profiling nur beim Refine Profile Prozess benutzt. Vorher ist es nur der Amp alleine.

Das hab ich ja genau gemacht. Die Prophecy hat aktive EMG 81, die Special passive Billig Epiphone Tonabnehmer

The blue track with the dropped D guitar has more bottom and has a little more presence, it kinda pops up in the mix (very subtle).

Thanks a lot, a very informative video indeed! A greater fear of mine would be, if such a profile lets the character of my guitar 'live'. This means, I'd love to hear the very same profile played with different guitars to hear if the sound and personality of the instruments if audible. Any chance you can do such a video?

So it seems that the guitar used to profile does not really make a difference.

When I recorded some songs few years ago I used a Gibson Les Paul, a 7string Court X and a my friend used another one I can`t remember right now. Each sound was completely different from one guitar to another when using the same profiling amp. That was something very clear, no need to have great ears to listen (though your demonstration got a different result).

i would worry more that you hear just no difference using different guitars because that will mean it doesnt matter anymore which guitar you own.
