Franz Schubert: Piano Sonata in E Major D157: Mvt.I: Allegro ma non troppo 00:00 Mvt.II: Andante 07:05 Mvt.III: Menuetto (Allegro vivace) 14:48 Wilhelm Kempff: piano
In the 1960s Mr. Wilhelm Kempff was the big star among the pianists - at least here in Germany. It is considered a reference in terms of German romanticism.
the best Schubert Sonata playing on Y.T. I have heard. the only thing I don't agree with is that he tends to cut his breaths, thus misleading the listener to hear the next phase started on the wrong beat. Otherwise, his rhythm is second to none; his playing beautiful, expressive and very stylish, that is, in style.
If the Composer was Schubert; The Pianist is Eva Young; What role did Wilhelm Kempff play? Please advise me. Or is EvaYoungPianist merely the Uploader of Kempff's recordings?
