I love my Fords.. probs a fanboy too, but the Quattro S1 is the group B car for me.. legendary beast!

Delta S4 was the latest car developed to have supercharged and turbocharged engine but the entire barn was amazing including that wider IMSA RS 200 (cream -brown).. Epic rally cars collection !

There was also another Subaru from Group A rally.

It never won a rally, and even if it had arrived earlier in 1984-85, it would never have competed against the likes of Peugeot T16, or Delta S4s The same could be said about the Metro 6R4, it was outclassed by the other cars.

@@peterlewis3540 It was always going to be difficult for any manufacturer to compete straight away with the other manufacturer who had been doing group b rallies for years, don't forget the Rs 200 was fords first group B car and coming into group b at that time when all thous other manufacturer And teams had all those years of experience, would of been very difficult. The rs 200 only ever raced group b for one year, the year after group b was banned, so to criticise a car that came late to the party and only raced for one year is a little bit harsh. I am sure if group b had not been banned and given time the rs 200 would of come good in the end, don't forget Cosworth who made the engine had F1 experience and knew how to make a race winning package, their still the 3rd most successful f1 engine builders of all time today, and they haven't made a f1 engine since the 90's, Ford and cosworth are no dummies, they had the financial clout and technical know how to be competitive given the time, and the rs 200 is still a fantastic car, your comments about as daft as saying a new manufacturer in F1 could win the competition with their first car and their first attempt. Just imagine how fast the rs 200 would of become, once the ford teams had gained the experience and developed the car further

Try to find Red Victor 2, a street eliminator car which, with the nitrous on, produces 2,200 horsepower , and is street driven. 800 hp rally cars were banned because they were "too fast."

Oh Please. Without fans rallies don’t exist. They buy cars of brands what rally teams represents ..and They are your recovery teams. Only fans can roll your car back on wheels and only fans can get your car unstuck.. only rally fans can make you recover from ditch.. only rally fans can save you from drowning in the river or lake when your car landed. Direct reason of group B ban was accident on rally Corsica where Henri Toivonen ans .sergio .cresto in Lancia Delta S4 left road...fallen from Sloop ..branches of the trees ripped off umprotected alloy fuel tank under car floor and whole car burst in flames and crew was burned alive inside. Not a single one rally spectator was involved in accident. Not a single one saw it. B Group was a madness. Rally team didn’t give a fuck about safety of rally crews. FIA baned it.. next two years and rally cars had completly safe soft fuel tank „ bags” in armored box inside trunk. Cars have fire extenguishers inside what can be activated by single button. No more rally crews burned alive inside car. I am huge rally fan but entertinment is not worth lives of great drivers.
