Everyone has footage of Griffey in seattle(90's) or his last years. Nobody seems to have any footage of his first four years in cincy.2000-04. Griffey Dark Ages? Lol

Out of 810 games from 2000-2004 Griffey missed 348 of them. And as bad as that sounds, he pinch hit in 54 of them. So in that five span, griffey only started in 294 or 36% of the games for the Reds. Hard to have a lot of footage when you are either not playing and when you are not at 100%. And those numbers are made to look better with the mostly healthy 2000. From 2001-2004 he averaged 68 hits 16 home runs 44 rbis with a .266 batting average. After 2001 he should have either went back to Seattle or moved to first base. He was never the same after the multiple injuries he had in 2002-2004

@@azson8670 the comment is talking about 2000-2004. Not 2005 or 2007 so im not sure what your point is. He was a below average player in Cincinnati. He had two above average seasons. 2000 when he had a 5.5 WAR and 2005 when he had a 3.7 WAR. The rest of the time he wasn't worth being on the field. His WAR from 2001-2010 was 7.6. You could have literally pulled a random Centerfielder from triple A and got that production.

@@jesuschristislord6790 geez somebody woke up on the wrong side of the bed anyways besides discrediting him that you're doing all I'm doing is just pointing out some facts and in the seasons he was injured he was still on pace to hit 35 to 40 home runs possibly even more, he wasn't below average I would say he was around average, but geez no need to be mad lol calm down I wasn't trying to argue with you, tf

@@azson8670 im not made. Just what you said wasn't relevant to the conversation. The question was, "Why isnt there a lot of highlights posted of Griffey from 2000-2004. The reason is because there arent many. The hand full of highlights(home run 400 and 500, inside the park home run) are already here. The answer is, which i stated, is that there arent any, cause he was hurt all the time and didnt produce. Cant find a lot of highlights of someone on the dl. So someone asked about the years 2000,2001, 2002,2003 and 2004 and you mention how many home runs he hit in two years not even a part of the convo.
