Aiiiii Art Center and the Art and Artificial Intelligence Lab of Tongji University (aai) will organize the annual international conference on AI Art 2022 on May 28 and 29. The conference's theme is "artificial imagination", combining the most groundbreaking research from diverse fields ranging from art, design, physics, computer science, media philosophy, and sci-fi literature. The definition, possibility, and potential of an artificial imagination inspired by the recent developments in the quantum computing area will be explored during the conference, which will offer an interdisciplinary inspiration for scholars, artists, and professionals from different backgrounds.

A winner of the Nebula, Hugo, and World Fantasy awards, Ken Liu (kenliu.name) is the author of The Dandelion Dynasty, a silkpunk epic fantasy series (The Grace of Kings + sequels), as well as The Paper Menagerie and Other Stories and The Hidden Girl and Other Stories.
Speech Title：What Is It Like to Write With a Machine Version of Yourself?
One consequence of the pandemic for me personally was a prolonged period during which I could write nothing creatively. My faith in the world of reason, where stories mattered, was shattered. In despair I turned to training a neural network that would write like myself and trained it on the entirety of my own corpus. This is the story of what happened when I tried to write a story with robo_ken.
