I searched around the internet for a while after recognising the song, but I couldn't find any records of it being officially licensed. Strangely, I believe this broadcast was aired before the release of the track.
@@lucylocket4740 it was released as a single in 2000; it first appeared on the album Play in 1999. And it was used in a number of commercials including for Volkswagen and France Telecom.
Livingstone was the worst mayor of London we have ever had. He took away the routemasters which was the face of London, he introduced the congestion charge which harmed businesses significantly, he banned pigeon feeding which for decades was one of London's famous traditions, he introduced bendy buses which regularly burst into flames through poor build and poor maintenance, he introduced the discriminatory minimum £4 fare for paper tickets on the tube, he didn't invest a penny on new trains for the Underground and left a lot of it in a state needing major refurbishment. The only good thing he did was win help London the Olympic games. Apart from that the man was an anti semitic, boring, money grabbing, car hating, economy wrecking twat. I for one was over the moon when Boris took over. Their records have no comparison. Boris looked after Londoners. He wasn't perfect but he took the City to a new level.
ahaha ur a mug mate. routemasters were awful and never on time, the congestion charge hasn't harmed business, business in London has boomed since 2000, and our air is still dangerously unclean. Pidgeon feeding as a famous tradition.... lol speak for yourself. Not anti semitic at all, just a critic of the state of Israel. The underground improved massively under ken, but the tories have cut central government funding, so it's difficult to make big improvements like other European cities where central government actually invests in the real economy.
