This is the first trailer for the film "KEN PIERCE: A Yellowstone Mind" to be released in 2025. Ken Pierce was one of a select group of USGS geologists who performed the early geologic mapping of Yellowstone in the late 1960s. He was tasked with deciphering the complex glacial history of Yellowstone, including the Yellowstone ice cap, ice-dammed lakes and glacial geomorphology. He was also instrumental in developing the Yellowstone Hotspot theory. He was known to his students as the Guru of Yellowstone geology. Coming in 2025.
