In this clip, Ken Shamrock spoke about losing to The Rock at Royal Rumble due to disqualification and being disqualified at Wrestlemania 14 after winning. When asked about The Rock rising to be one of the biggest stars in Hollywood, Ken explained that he’s happy because Dwayne “is a great person outside of the ring.” Ken explained that he saw The Rock “take off” whenever he was given the mic. When asked about an incident where The Rock hit him in the face with a metal chair. Ken explained that he told him to hit him in the face so that he could see it coming, and Ken revealed that it didn’t hurt because he was hit in the forehead.

I remember seeing that and I remember Ken Shamrock telling the story over the years and he really wanted The Rock to lay that chair shot in and sure as hell he did that was one of the most vicious chair shots I've ever seen.What an underrated feud that was back in the day Shamrock vs The Rock.I think both guys elevated each other at that time.

It's crazy to think that Rock is the guy who hit Shamrock in the face with a chair and congratulate him (Via satellite) in his IMPACT Hall of Fame ceremony. If Ken Shamrock finally gets inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame, it would be cool to see Rock induct Ken like he did for his dad and grandfather (god rest their souls).

I was never a huge fan of ken shamrock but always respected him. I didnt not like him he just wasnt a favourite pick, I always liked him tho and as I got older and learned his life story grew to like him more n more. Now in the las few years I'm def a fan, love the guys story/career, work ethic like few others.

The top of your head is not a "weak part". The top of your head is the hardest part of the body. Once in a fight I kept tilting my head down whenever the other guy threw a punch. I made him keep punching the top of my head. I saw him a couple of days later and his hands were swollen. It looked painful. I didn't start the fight though so I didn't have much sympathy.
