+Thomas Johnson did you acutally listen to mighty wings for at least five seconds? Then you would know, that except from the first riff there are no similarities at all.
2800boy anyone can make these 16bit midi breaks. Just with things like stereo and surround sounds it's not good for in depth sound game experience when you got different backgrounds noises and stuff all at once. Game developers choose not too. Imagine a old mono chrome 8-16 but file playing all the time while playing COD or something. It's not very realistic
nothing beats the snes. im born 1987 and my father 1963. but he says the same thing. snes was the best ever. or it is just nostalgia... who knows... who cares. just enjoy all this effects and sounds of this epic track..
@Chirolita Jhonson dude i bought a smd 3 years ago. i love that console. but the 3 button controller just fucks it up. i got the 6 button controller aswell. but the snes controller feels better with the l and r buttons. i love that 80's synth based chip from the md. i could not say what is better. cause im a 80s fanboy... but i really think the snes soundchip is better. because so much of those sounds on the md get lost. you cant hear a clear melody like the snes soundchip. it sounds so low and not powerful. but this is not only the md soundchips fault. i mean streets of rage or thunder force has some amazing soundtrack. you just have to use that chip properly. i would say the md soundchip sounds better for me cause of the 80s synth. and man that bass from metal squad (thunder force IV) you see? this was just a comment in 1 section. i said the snes sound is better but in the end the genesis version is bette.r i dont know. both have their flair for me :D snes for the kick and strong sound. but genesis for the 80's synth vibes :D
No man Your father is talking about the facts The SNES was the masterpiece of video games Where you had the best video games with the best soundtracks ever. If you see nowadays video games All try to replicate what we wad in the 80' and 90' Simple truth facts.
thank you, there was a former youtube channel that had all these street fighter themes posted but it was taken down unfortunately. Glad to see the Ken theme is still on youtube somewhere.
Wow, this brings back memories. I remember first playing the arcade game at Great Escape right around the time when the game first came out (I was like 12 at the time). Great times!
it's games like these that pushed the video game industry to hights that video games these days will never succeed in, street fighter, mortal kombat etc are still being played today and will never be forgoten.
*hums the theme and headbangs to it* SO NOSTALIGA i was born in 1997 but when i was 4 my friend came with his genesis and we played super street fighter 2 the new challengers the whole day and from that day on i was a street fighter fan
@christbone agreed! I'm a 15 year old and I grew up with the SNES, N64, Dreamcast, etc. These games plus everything back in the day beats the shit out of everything we got today, without a doubt :D
Even though Ken comes over as a very aggressive player, he's actually very motivational. Everytime he jumps up into the sky his fist in the air, he shouts: SUREYOUCAN!
yeah man ! my dad knew that i was coming but forget about the time playing street fighter with my uncle ;)! u see how great this game is! best game ever!
Brings back memories of giving the final blow in a match and watching the other character scream in slow motion then bounce on the ground hitting the barrel at the edge of the screen.
Ryu and Ken The HADOKEN always drove me nuts because i kept falling for it the trick turned out to be to keep uppercutting Ryu and you eventually defeat him
