Kenai Fjords Tours | Northwestern Fjord Tour 2019 | Boat tours Seward, AK | Wildlife Cruise Alaska 

We decided to take a boat of Kenai Fjords National Park through Kenai Fjords tours. We chose the Northwestern Tour which was a 9 hour, full day tour. (Breakfast/lunch included). The tour takes you deep into the Northwestern Fjord and there is literally wildlife at every turn. We watched families of orcas, humpback whales, pudffins (among hundreds of other birds), seals, sea lions, sea otters, bald eagles. Literally - the list goes on and on. We hung out in the glacier bay for quite a long time watching pieces of the glacier calve into the water and we even saw a glacier avalanche while we were there. Our tour July 20, 2019. We were able to book the night before our tour with no issues. The tours leave out of Seward, AK.
We highly recommend this tour. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and the guides were FULL of knowledge of the area and the wildlife. We learned so much and had the absolute best time!
The drive down into the Kenai Peninsula is beautiful. The Turnagain Arm is one of the most unique and beautiful stretches of road I have ever driven. It is the perfect welcome for all the magic that the Kenai Peninsula holds.
