Your are such an inspiration to all people suffering with acne , I personally respect you so much because you have showed me not to be ashamed of my acne , because that’s part of who I am and people need to get over it , I used to be so scared to go out without something covering my acne . I’m not the best but I’m better now . My acne stops me from wearing the things I want because I don’t feel comfortable showing my skin when it’s particularly bad, watching you has helped me to be more confident in my own skin so thank you ❤️

Gorgeous! I suffer from acne since I was a teenager and it never disappeared even though I became an adult. You are such an inspiration. We all have bad days in which we hate our skin but I think it's something we need to learn to accept and love. Thank you so much for being such an inspiration.

You 👏🏻 are 👏🏻 a 👏🏻 life 👏🏻 saver 👏🏻!!!!! I have never heard the tip you gave to cover acne with a darker shade and then cover with your skin match. It’s life changing. I have cystic acne and I have been using full coverage foundations to cover it up. Since I’ve watched this video I’ve felt comfortable enough to spot cover First with darker then my shade. Then I’ll put B.B. cream over and call it a day. My skin has never looked better during a breakout. Thank you so much!!!

I’m going through a really bad breakout atm. My skin is the worst it’s been in a long time so my confidence is pretty much non existent rn. Every time I watch one of your videos I always feel so reassured and less alone about my acne, sometimes it feels like I’m the only person in the world who struggles with it. Hi honey we love you. I have suffered from acne for 17 years...recently discovered i have auto immune syndrom call "Sjogren" and it basically drying everything including skin. Seen a naturopath she adviced to take omega 7 supplements to hydrate the skin from inside. No acne since 1 month i am shocked and happy and sad at the same time that my skin was just so angry to be dry it gave me pimples everywere :-( I hope you will find were your acne comes from and kick its ass for good

I like what you've done! I've had cystic acne for a long time (most of my life since puberty)... but I currently don't have much acne though I have a lot of scarring. I think that it's incredibly hard to get a flawless skin. You can cover up and look good for photos and from a certain distance but up close and/or under harsh lights, it's quite obvious. Having said that, I know that it's very difficult to not want to hide when you have a lot of acne - I used to cringe when I had to go to work and my breakout was so obvious. My skin has more pores so I find that too much highlight isn't a good thing...! What you've done is great and you look good with and without makeup :)

Shamima Rahman Yeah it's so random. I have been sleeping with the Glamglow Supermud Clearing Treatment on swollen ones and this priduct is quite a revelation to me. The fastest anything has taken them down. I buy them in sachets on eBay as can't afford a big one and don't use loads. Give it a try.

Hey Em! I love this video. I never had acne and in 2011 it started and never went away. I went to a dermatologist and was prescribed antibiotics and i tried everything to get rid of my acne. I really didn’t appreciate other people’s comments about my face and oh you eat chocolate thats why your face looks like that comments among others. A few months ago, I went to another dermatologist and she suggested antibiotics because my acne wasn’t so severe I told her its been there for the past 6 years and never cleared up so she put me on Roaccutane. Yes it dries you up. Yes it can worsen mood swings and depression but I don’t regret it. I keep going back for checkups and medical tests to see everythings fine. I was against it for so long - oh ill just use more aloe vera or anti acne treatments and they didn’t do anything. I know you are against it, but I’m just wondering why? What was your experience? 💗💗💗

Fun fact. You were the first "beauty" youtuber I watched and the 2nd RU-vidr full stop (kween Jenna). Initially started watching around a year ago because I'm pale and I was having such a rough time with my skin. I know demographically I'm not the core audience of RU-vid which is odd, because channels like yours that really focus on the reality of being fully grown adult (if such thing exists) and having to ~justify your skin or how much makeup you wear isn't something that has the same effect on teenagers. It's awful whatever age you are, but people are much more forgiving when you are a teen. As an adult, people just assume you don't care or you care too much. So basically even though I'm not the core audience for RU-vid, it's (your channel) a hell of a lot more refreshing and honest than the likes of buzzfeed and other modern media.
