In this new series, we talk to different international Kenshi and ask them to talk about their Kendo journeys. Our first guest is French national team member Koichi Nakabayashi.
We hope his story inspires aspiring Kenshi around the world!

Koichi started Kendo in France at the age of 4. He has been training with the French Team for many years, and first started representing his country at the 2011 European Kendo Championships. His first World Kendo Championships were those held in 2012 in Novara, Italy. He attained the individual title at the European Kendo Championships held in Serbia in 2019.
